So many bands that I can't even list them. I tend to listen to one band a lot for a period of time, then get bored of them and go searching for new ones.

Old Nightwish, Rammstein, Sirenia, Epica, The Cat Empire, Ministry, Fear Factory. The list goes on and I'm still looking for new bands regularly. I do still listen to the older bands I found when I feel like it though.

I was watching Game Grumps before it went mainstream.

OT: Gonna have to go with Persona 4.

When I joined this site, I had no idea what it was. I made a thread for people to suggest some PS2 games that I would like and WHABAAM, I got to play the best game ever made.

Joining this site was the best decision of my life.

To The Moon is something I just found recently, and I think it is simply amazing. Granted, there isn't a lot of replayability to me, but it's story more than makes for it.

Mostly bands.

Alestorm is great fun, pirate metal songs!
And instantly fell in love with Electric Wizard when I first heard them. That's toned down a bit now, but still greatly enjoy them when I'm in that heavy mood.

Metalocalypse/Dethklok and Game Grumps

Metalocalypse is the show of my dreams.
Dethklok is the band of my dreams.
Game Grumps has Egoraptor in it.

A little something I found on YouTube called 'Proffessor Layton and the Malignant Growth'. Luke's eyes don't seem to blink at the same time. Ever. The series only gets better as it goes on.

I'm not even going to try and link that stuff.

Game Grumps
If I knew Game Grumps was John-Tron and Ego Raptor from the beginning I would have jump on it on day one. Even though Goof Troop was painful to watch.

---

I could make a really long list...really long...Let's try to limit this a bit...OH! PERFECT ONE!

You may have noticed this video before in one or two of my earlier posts:

Steam Powered Giraffe is an autonomous, synthetic troupe programmed to entertain flocks of humans! They are located in (I believe) San Diego California and you can follow them on Facebook.

Also Rabbit is no longer a member since his mind was a bit deviant. He was recently replaced by this chappie, Hatchworth

Also: if you like Dethklok/ Metalokalypse and you also like Anime then you're more than likely going to like Detroit Metal City:

Aside from being a manga series, there is also an anime, a live action movie (featuring Gene Fucking Simmons) and, a couple of CDs and, music videos. Here is the signature song, SATSUGAI

This show Community

I had seen gifs of it but never knew it's name. Then my friend introduced me to it a few days ago and man do I love this show. Watching it now actually

Oh and offtopic but Alison Brie is ridiculously hot, just saying.
Oh man. I loves me some Community and yet I seemed very resistant to it whenever someone tried to tell me about it.
Same thing with Archer and Ugly Americans.

Crystal Light and Mio.

What are these, you may ask?

Basically, flavoring/sweetening for water with very little or no caloric/sugar content.

Around four or five months ago I decided to stop drinking soda, and those two things have been an absolute godsend since then. Not that I don't like the taste of plain water, but when it's basically the only thing you're drinking, it gets bland after a while.

Mass Effect, which is the most philosophically engaging work of artistic and intellectual brilliance I have ever had the privilege to experience. I still can't stop thinking about that game everyday.

Lately, the show Tremé. The first season dates back to 2010. Never heard about it despite being an HBO show. But then I started watching it a few days ago after seeing a commercial about the third season starting and holy crap it's good. Mostly for the music, oh that glorious New Orleans music.

Other shows that were around for a time but I only heard about a while ago:
- Archer
- Community
- Suits

Game-wise I never even heard of the whole Persona phenomenon. When I did I bought Persona 3 Portable for my PSP and damn it's one of my favourite JRPG's to date.

Other games:
- Baldur's Gate
- XCOM
- Hitman
- Planescape: Torment
- Arcanum

Last but not least; ginger beer. I always heard of ginger ale and whenever I heard the name ginger beer I assumed it was the same thing. But then a month or two back I discovered it wasn't the same thing. Better yet it was a bazillion times better. Good gods I love me some ginger beer.

I didn't catch a whole crapload of awesome media until after they were discontinued, having been too young or disconnected to know about them when they were at their height:

-Firefly

-Joss Whedon in general, actually.

-The works of Douglas Adams, who became my favorite author of all time the instant I read the first paragraph of the Hitchhiker's Trilogy.

-Avenged Sevenfold (Again, now my all-time favorite, as you can see by my avatar), whom I didn't hear about until shortly after the Rev died.

-Terry Pratchett (Sort of. I'd heard of Discworld in passing more than a few times, but I never bothered to pick up one of his books until I heard he did a collaboration with Neil Gaiman.)

-Doctor Who (And the new favorites keep rolling, don't they?), which I didn't know was a thing until my dad showed me an episode from the third season of the new series. Still haven't managed to hunt down any classic series episodes.

Yeah I wasn't too hyped to check it out when my friend told me about it. It was just one of those "yeah I'll get around to it" then out of boredom I watched the first two episodes and fell in love.

So much Grump love!

Been watching dat shit since the first episode. Somehow those two make a Lets-play channel worth watching.

I only recently learned the wonder that is TV which hasn't been animated.

Daria. I only found out about it recently thanks to the Nostalgia Chick.

As much as I love it, some episodes hit really close to home with me... And it disturbs me ._.

A bit of Fry and Laurie

Fantastic humor
Me too. I'd loved watching those two in Blackadder, and Fry and Laurie had me absolutely howling.

I recently started listening to The Proclaimers, and it turns out they not only have more than one song, but are really awesome.
