I often tend to touch my face or neck when I'm nervous and feel that people are watching me, despite the fact that this makes me look and feel even more uncomfortable.

I usually get a little queezy, and I shake a whole lot. As in, my jaw will actually shake when I attempt to speak. It can get pretty bad. I usually don't get nervous if its on the spot stuff or if I'm very confident in what I'm talking about. Anything that I have to mill over though kills me.

Scream and thrash violently.
Joking.
Usually stutter or say words in the wrong order like "I'm like china in a bull shop." I have actually said that.

Stammer, tap table excessively and sweat = Recipe for success.

But if I have the time, I just calmly try to convince myself that I don't really care about the act or it's outcome.
That has helped me get through a lot of late work assignments (or whatever the are called in English) for school.

Like all my other emotions, none of the effects of my nervousness are external.
I'm sure there are subtle hints, but I haven't noticed them.

I just get this weird feeling like I'm forgetting something.
Y'know. Because if there's one thing a nervous person needs, it's the nagging sensation that they aren't fully prepared.
Go team me.

If I'm not talking in front of others and I'm nervous I tend to yawn. Makes people think I'm bored and is great when playing cards.

Edit: Ninja'd?!? What the hell? I thought I was a unique snowflake.
The dice are always rolling...
(get that reference and you win a cookie)

Anywho, I tend to mumble, talk under my breath, slur my words (and pauses), or remain silent when I'm nervous

When I'm nervous, such as when I have to do anything involving public speaking, I use an overabundance of hand gestures that contribute nothing to the actual story.

I only just realized this a few months ago, and I've caught myself doing them ever since.

Do any of you have nervous qualities like that?

(p.s. serch bahr appruvd lawl)
It's never bad to use hand gestures, but too many can cause you to look a tad like a crack head. It's not so much the hand gestures, more like where they are.

No yeah, I go way overboard.

Every word has its own gesture, basically. But the gesture is completely unrelated.
