Things you find funny.

So, what are things in games you find funny, even if they might not supposed to be?
For me, it's that the DNF ads are all over the Escapist, and they gave it a 2/5.

I find it amusing that Mass Effect talimancers often accuse Ashely of being a racist when Tali is the biggest racist in your crew. I always found their inability to see the hypocrisy there to be pretty funny.

I recently wrote an article accusing a group of people of being thin-skinned. I also called them out for supporting pedophilia and banning people who were in any way negative. Their response was to get mad (proving my point), and to make some amusing threats towards me. They did the regular motions of accusing me of being one of them, and then making some comments saying they should hunt me down and kill me in creative ways. A for effort guys. One even called me a "Morale Troll" (Yes, spelled that way).

I loled at this.

For some reason I cant help but giggle every now and again at some of the ragdolls in CS:S. Its just morbidly funny to me sometimes.

Tim Minchin makes me laugh viciously. People spelling things terribly and then trying to criticize my spelling makes me stop and laugh in their faces. Also, beating my best friend, who claimed to be a master at Yugioh, with a Winged Kuriboh made me hysterical.

That line is from Dead Space 2. I'm not sure whether it was supposed to be funny or not, but damned if it doesn't make me giggle a little every time I hear it. I think what really sells it is the matter-of-fact way Isaac says it, in spite of how insane it actually sounds to be talking about giant tentacles. I guess giant tentacles aren't exactly the strangest thing he's ever seen, but still. XD

One of Morrigan's winning speech bubbles from Marvel vs Capcom 3 is:

"My, what strong tentacles you have. I hope the party is just getting started."

This occurs when she defeats Shuma Gorath, a character that is quite literally an eyeball with many tentacles. For some reason, it brings out the immature side in me and always makes me crack a smile. Not laugh-out-loud funny, but enough to send my mind places that no living person should ever go.

I find it even more funny when games allow me to do this, when they require a Verbal and Somatic(movement) component.

Hm. I never thought about it like that. Now that you mention it, yeah. You're right. Morrigan is technically a succubus, even though she looks more like a vampire, and that gives her statement merit.

Maybe it's because I've always pictured succubi as more demonic than vampire. Morrigan is just a special case I suppose. Part of her...erm...
