In the midst of all the discussions about other people's stupidity and shortcomings, I figured it was time to bite back our egos and recall some times that we have been failures. Got in to a heated argument only to realize you were wrong the whole time? Tried to correct someone and had it blow up in your face? Or have you been mistaken about something your whole life and only recently learned the truth?
I, for one, thought that Britain and England were two different countries for most of my youth. It was only in tenth grade that I found out that they were the same thing. Finding this out was especially strange since I had attributed some historic events to Britain and some to England. History began to make a lot more sense afterwards.
