I ruined a few sessions by accidentally quick-saving when I meant to quick-load. It's always at a point when my character is three seconds away from dying. It's a bad habit to keep only one save file.

Replaying Golden Sun where you get to use your high level characters.
How do you do that? Anyways, accidentally watching the Ryan's office scene in BioShock on Youtube.

I'm not exactly sure since I haven't played Golden Sun in awhile and I can't find it =[. I'm pretty sure you load the file with you cleared data though.

Oh thats another big one, reading a games forum, reading a thread on it about something, and then realising that theyve just gave away a big spoiler without putting a spoiler warning anywhere. Completely kills the shock of plot twists... :x

Every time I predict the end of a game. I hate doing that.
Thats the problem with most stories, you can see whats going to happen a mile off. =/

Finding out how to beat SBCG4AP. When you look up how to beat a Point-and-Click adventure, you just ruin it.

Engineer rushes.
Especially in red alert 3, engineer rushes with twinblade helicopters.

Rushing I don't mind, but having to look out for a single helicopter that can appear out of some obscure part of the fog of war where I didn't have a scout yet, because if I react to late I'll lose any building the engineer gets close enough to, either by having to sell it, or by the engineer taking it.
1-Shotting buildings in a game where a building costs only 1/10th of the unit that can 1shot it is BORING, especially if you can just put the engineer in an aerial transport.

I set out in Fallout 3 to be a total psychopathic mass-murdering asshole. I'd been through the game once and gotten a Savior karma ranking for being nice to everyone, so I wanted to do a complete 180. I made it to Megaton having picked all the worst conversation, picked all fights, killed the overseer and most everyone else. I had a short snarky discussion with the sheriff of megaton and then I killed him for his sweet gear. After that the township went nuts and halfway through murdering the lot of them I thought to myself "Yeah this just ain't fun..."

I guess it's just not in me to be evil. :D

i still play them aswell but not knowing how it ends is part of the fun and [spolier] knowing that your cousin dies in GTA 4 makes shipping him to and from dinners all that more annoying
and it also ruins that tiny little hope that this is he game where the protaginist actualy has a sad ending where the bad guys do win and the world is destroyed, oposed to the usual world peace candy for everyone ending
I'm not sure if your breaking of the
codes was done in irony or not :s hope so...

Did the Thieve's Guild quests out of order in Oblivion. Now I can't finish the quest line and get the cowl.
Wasn't that a bit stupid? No offence, but still...

I used a cheat to become invincible on Star Wars Battlefront 2 so I could get amazing stats, but it took most of the fun out of the game itself. Needless to say I don't bother doing that now.
