I don't get why people say "cuss word."
Next we'll be saying "swea word," stupid overprotective parents.

Yeah, earrings are just like weird Prince Albert's, it is odd that someone would want to pierce their ears where there are much better places to put bits of metal.Shivari post=18.70720.700522 said:Things you just don't get
One thing I don't get is why people would wear earrings. Putting a hole in the weirdest part of the body to hang shiny metal from it? Strikes me as odd, and if you really look at them they just look silly.
Blasphemy! I don't get nightclubs, you stand around listening to crap electro music, sipping overpriced drinks, yelling into other peoples ears. Most the people who hang aroung nightclub areas are assholes, drug addicts or gang knobheads and its all for the hope that some drunk girls standards are low enough to give you the time of day. No thankyou. I guess I'll add my opinion to piercings, why are people paying to have themselves impaled with tiny bits of metal? I also don't get really overweight people, some people I just ask myself, "How do you let yourself get that way?" Don't justify that KFC by having diet pepsi! Also, overweight kids, thats gotta be a form of child abuse, right? All children would gleefully only eat junk food, its the parents responsibility to prevent that! Finally, I don't get people who are assholes. We are all strange and different people, stuck on a floating rock in universe too big to comprehend. We are in this together, why be a prick to others? Why steal from , insult, inconvenience and generally try to ruin someone elses day/life? Also, why do women find these characteristic attractive?Shivari post=18.70720.701002 said:I don't get why people would eat Hawaiian pizza. It's absolutely disgusting.
I think piercings for most people has to do with some kind of deeper spiritual meaning, which is what it probably started as long ago. As a mark of distinction through pain and a mark that you endured the pain for distinction. The same with tattoos, its a spiritual/cultural mark of individuality or distinction. Hawaiin men get tattoos to symbolize becoming a man, and its a very arduous and painful process. By going through this pain you've gone on a spiritual experience and become a man by enduring the pain, and you have a distinctive mark to show what you've gone through.Jamash post=18.70720.701045 said:Yeah, earrings are just like weird Prince Albert's, it is odd that someone would want to pierce their ears where there are much better places to put bits of metal.Shivari post=18.70720.700522 said:Things you just don't get

No, seriously though, I don't really understand why people would want any part of their body pierced, let alone their ears. I see it more as a liability & don't like the idea of catching a piercing on something. I get enough pain when I catch my nipple on the door frame, and that's not even pierced.
I don't quite understand how I manage to keep doing this, or why I don't learn from it, but it really really hurts.
I think it's a combination of the trajectory at which I leave the front room, rushing to go to the kitchen, sometimes having an erect nipple, & having poor spatial awareness.
Same, and why some people seem to care about animals more than other human beings. The Potato Lord post=18.70720.701143 said:Why it costs more money to "help save abused animals" than it does to feed a starving child in Africa.
