Most things I like have problems. If you truly enjoy something, admitting flaws shouldn't be a problem.
Sword Art Online is the only show I truly and utterly despise. That shit actually made me respect Guilty Crown (though I agree GC is not the worst show ever, I would give that vote to SAO but I digress).
Guilty Crown is bad, but it is entertaining (intentionally or unintentionally), and has semblance of storytelling.
I do agree on Highschool of the Dead though. It's got problems, but it just does what it does.

I feel the MGS series is indeed a good example of this, but for different reasons (IIRC it was called "Solid" because of the transition to 3D technology), the storylines are silly, but they do manage to involve actual discussions on war and nuclear weapons......Just leave MGS4 out of the equation.ScruffyMcBalls said:

I like Dark Souls. It has got some issues. To me, the biggest issue is not that it has no easy mode, but people with no honour playing pvp and ruining other people's experience. Like when the Mongols first raided Japan. Barbarians, the lot of them.
I like nuclear power. We need to get better and smarter all the way, but compared to all the costly and toxic rubbish we've come up with so far, nuclear power is still my absolute number one.
Dragon Ball. I can?t be arsed to explain, but I just really like the characters and the story can be genuinely pretty good at times (e.g. the cat-and-mouse sequence with Vegeta, Gohan, Kuririn and Freeza?s crew in the Freeza arc).
Spider-Man 3. Come at me, bros. I actually thought the mash-up of Venom, Sandman and Green Goblin worked pretty will, and that ?emo Peter Parker? was a nice insight into our loveable friendly neighbourhood web-slinger?s dark side.
Harry Potter. As the series progressed, it is fair to see that J.K. Rowling did get a little ?asspull-y?, so to speak, with the plot, as well as there being numerous potential plotholes that make the series even more unbelievable. But nonetheless, I can?t help but getting engrossed in such a vibrant universe every time I read one of the books.
The Final Destination series. I just love to see how inventive they can make each character death be, as well as its somewhat black humour.
Tokyo Akazukin. After the initial novelty of ?loli Red Riding Hood protagonist with a vore fetish for having the Big Bad Wolf eat her fights all manners of demons? wears off, the plot just gets tired and there?s not much more to separate it from other manga. But I do like the artwork, and I still come back to it every now and then.

I'm going to second this. I quite love Dark Void in many ways. I'm actually kind of sad I got rid of it. Sometimes, I think I want to play it again. It's certainly cheap enough to consider it.Calibanbutcher said:
OT: I actually like Punch-Drunk Love, despite it's strange shortcomings at times, and its ending that doesn't really work, but there is one line that makes my heart melt and then I fall in love with the movie again. It's not flawless, but I like it that way. There is a reason why it's in my top 5 favorite movies.
As far as video games go, I love Catherine. I've never played a game that can be so infuriating and all at once, fun to play. I also, in a trashy sort of way, kind of liked Bubsy. The first one, that is. I've never played the sequels, and I'm glad I never tried my hand at Bubsy 3D.
EDIT: Also, I'm probably one of the outliers who actually liked Final Fantasy VIII (8). I didn't like VII(7) that much. I play it now, and it's fun, but VIII is one I actually love, despite the emo main characters and every other problem is has. Drawing summons and magic from bad guys was brilliant. I also love Final Fantasy IX (9), but that's flawless, so there you go.
I'm a huge Ghost Rider fan, but I didn't like the first movie very much, seeing as the guy who directed that horrible Dare Devil movie directed GR. SoV was directed by three people, who did a much better job. Over all however, the CGI was MUCH better than the original too. The only issue I had with it was they got rid of Blaze' chopper and used Dan Ketch' sport bike. Some continuity would've been nice there.Shoggoth2588 said:
