We all have those things that we like that people ask us why about.
Movies, games, tv shows.

For me, I like Meet The Spartans.
I know its a horrible film, but its just funny to me.

I would, sadly, have to say good books like 1984 or Animal Farm (yes I like George Orwell) while everyone else reads things like Twilight. I have actually been told "Who cares about those old books" when said person is holding Twilight in their hand.

That person would be ignorant then. I agree with you on the value of old books. I read Tolkien, and some kid holding a copy of Eragon told me "That uses too many cliches."

I tapped on the cover of his book twice, then gestured toward my own. "This book MADE those cliches that your book now rips off," I told him. He shut his mouth and walked away with his tail between his legs.

Seems to me that there are not a large amount of gamers that embrace the more relaxed side of gaming, like adventure games where you can't actually die, or the calm "take time to figure it out" puzzle games. I know not EVERYONE hates them, there are definitely a fair number that don't even want to touch a good point n' click adventure.

Lawl... but what fantasy novel doesn't rip from others anymore?

I like to eat pickles with peanut butter on them. Two great tastes that taste great together!

Two Worlds
I must admit, it brings me a certain degree of tranquility, wandering around, talking to peasants in Old English and solving people's problems one angry ogre at a time.

I like eating salted anchovies, all of my friends hate them, and we argued lengthily about it because each time I ordered pizzas I wanted some.

Please don't nail me to a burning cross or anything for this, but I like having the freedom to say that I DON'T LIKE HALO 2 OR 3. I think Halo 3 is the most over-hyped, mediocre excuse for a shooter I've ever played.

I thought this thread was about things you like, that no one else does, not the other way around.

Anyway, I can't point anything out at the moment. Well, maybe except that I like ScrewAttack, but I don't know whether anyone here likes it, or not.

You can add me to that list.

Adored Halo: Combat Evolved. Possibly best game I've played. Halo 2 campaign was a big disappointment. Halo 3 campaign was only ok.

Adore Halo 3 Multiplayer. Even though I'm not very good.

Halo 3 was just a giant disappointment all around. Now, back on topic. Things ya like that no one else does. I am a student of language, and as an American, that scares a lot of people. I don't know why, but a lot of Americans see the ability to speak multiple languages as some kind of threat.
