Although I have not sufficiently surveyed "everyone else," I'd have to say that they all probably hated Reign of Fire.

That movie had dragons.

I didn't hate that movie.

I would, sadly, have to say good books like 1984 or Animal Farm (yes I like George Orwell) while everyone else reads things like Twilight. I have actually been told "Who cares about those old books" when said person is holding Twilight in their hand.

I just finished reading both of those, and I too loved them. Extremely depressing, but amazing.

I loved Animal Farm, need to grab a copy. It is one of the few books that wasn't ruined by me having to study it at school.

I liked the Beast Wars series of Transformers at least as much as the original.

Also I enjoyed a lot of the books that we were forced to read for school - of mice and men, how to kill a mocking bird, etc. The only exception was Brave New World which I hated with a passion.

Yup, the books get me; I like reading books like The Lord of The Rings (including the Silmarillion), the entire Dune-saga, 1984, Dracula, Brave New World.

I also enjoyed the matrix sequels, 3 more than 2, and I wish people would quit bitching about them. also enjoyed halo 3-not the multiplayer! Oh and Ska, I know only one other person that likes Ska.

I like Digimon. Most people who do like Anime aren't fond of the kid shows, but I have a soft spot for Digimon, Dragon Drive, and the pre-movie seasons of Pokemon.

I dont know what the people here at the escapist think of this song, but i like Banana Phone and it drives all of my friends up a wall when i play it. I also like vampire weekend, regina spektor, and the kooks. None of my friends like those artists but i really enjoy them.

...i also like the playstation 3 and do not fanboy protect it...however that doesn?t sound very convincing when I say that I actually enjoy lair. I had quite a few hours of fun with Lair; I even like the controls. Having said this I completely understand if I get tarred and feathered.
