I'll start:

Things I Liked As A Kid But Don't As An Adult?:
Tom Petty (and The Heart-breakers).
-I USED to LOVE his music, I still own most of his discography.
But...as time went on...eh. Not even his 'Greatest Hits' albums get any play from me.

Things I Like As An Adult But Don't As A Kid?
Marylin Manson.
-It wasn't until about two years ago that I started to really dig his music, even the later stuff. His whole 'shock rock' thing kind of bored me as a teen.
I saw him as a rock version of Slim Shady, which wasn't a compliment.
It's a shame to, because, now, I would have LOVED to have seen him live.

As a kid I loved big epic fights, action set pieces, and explosions. In equal measure I hated talkie scenes and slow, breathing moments.

I would zone out through most of my favorite shows as a kid and zone back in when the action starts.

As an adult, I?m literally the opposite. Action set pieces that drag on too long quickly lose my interest, and I?m much more engaged by instances of dialogue and character motivation.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Hmm, oddly enough I can only really think of one example and I think its more hypothetical then anything since this show wasn't on when I was a kid.

I don't think I would like MLP when I was a kid. Well... I have a feeling I would be one of those idiots who just hated on it to hate on it without actually having have watched it, depending what age I was when it came out. Love it as an adult, its great and if you think otherwise you are wrong.

Well, for a classic example, I hated broccoli as a kid, and now it's one of my go-to vegetables. My historical aversion to it stemed in part from the fact that I wasn't exactly punctual about dinner as a child, which tended to result in the broccoli getting overcooked. Much like with brussel sprouts, overcooking broccoli tends to make it considerably less appetizing.

Certain anime movies like Digimon and Pokemon the First Movie I liked as a kid... But looking back they're not very good. Then again, I was more interested in the giant monster fights...

The former was actually three movies stitched together and made to connect when they had little to do with each other.

The latter... had plot holes up the wazoo, and not just the English version either...

Though I still kinda like the scene where Ash sacrifices himself. Imaging being 8-9 years old and watching one of your childhood heroes being freaking struck dead and turned to stone! That leaves quite the impression!

As an adult, I've be c one bit more tolerant of tomatoes. For some reason, I never liked eating actual tomatoes despite my love of ketchup, tomato sauce and tomato soup. I'm not quite a fan, but I'm a bit more tolerant of them.

I didn't like spaghetti sauce as a kid. Tried it as an adult cause I didn't wanna look like that guy at a friend's place and it was like god ascended on my plate

Wow... my tastes haven't really changed that much. I really thought this would be easier. I can really only think of the completely obvious, like toys. As a very young kid I liked toys and action figures and model cars... and I don't anymore. Booze, I like it now but wasn't allowed to drink it as a kid. And that's all I can think of. I had good taste as a kid I guess.

Fashion maybe. I wore 90's cloths as a kid and rocked a permed mullet and now wouldn't be caught dead with the Tennessee mudflap or parachute pants. I don't see how any of that's different than most adults. I went all "goth" in high school, and realized exactly how lame and stupid that was pretty shortly afterwards. But who doesn't get caught up in trends, especially when they are as impressionable as kids.

Heh, I actually used to like Marylin Manson as a teen (also Placebo), but now I look back on it with an embarrassed headshake.

I also used to love Aliens and not care much for Alien, which has completely 180'd.

I loved candies when I was a kid.But not now.Just seems like wasted calories to me.I hated mushrooms, cheese and sweet potato when I was a kid.Now I like it. Now I learned to appreciate home cooked food more than junk food.I hated some fruits like avocados and dates. Now I love them. Some shows like documentaries used to be boring when I was a kid,now it is fun.As a child,I hated to be alone. But now I crave for quality time with myself.

I was really into cartoon like Transformers G1, Thundercats, He-Man and GI Joe when I was a kid. Now I find them nearly unwatchable. Others I sort of liked back then, but like much more now, such as Batman The Animated Series, Animaniacs or Freakazoid. I'm also pretty sure young me wouldn't have cared much for Batman Brave and the Bold, but adult me enjoys it for the cheesy lighthearted romp it is.

I really didn't like parmesan cheese as a kid. Now I love the stuff.

I was really into metal as a teen, starting with bands like Korn, Slipknot and Rammstein in my early teens and moving onto Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura and a whole bunch of other bands, while hating everything to do with pop music and electronic music.

Nowadays, I'm more of the opinion that there is no such thing as a bad genre of music. Only bad songs and bad artists. Pop, Rock, Country, Jazz, Funk, EDM, Drum&Bass, Electro, Classical, whatever. Doesn't matter, I believe you're bound to find something you like if only you take the time to look.

I think it might have had something to do with starting to play music myself in my late late teens and trying to play songs from all kinds of genres, learning to appreciate and look at them in a different light from before.

Japanese animation. I watched The Fist of the North Star at a friend?s house when I was around 13 and LOVED it, then came The Guyver, Project: A-ko, Record of Lodoss War, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Vampire Hunter D, etc.; I was hooked for the longest. But I guess I outgrew it all? I still like the classics, but nothing new or even relatively recent has managed to reignite the intense interest I had in my teenage years. I did watch the first season of Attack on Titan, and there was a slight spark for a second, but once the protagonist turned into a titan and all that shit, I was immediately ?meh.?

Not so much when as I was a kid, but when I was a teenager, but Duke Nukem. I used to be huge into Duke Nukem 3D when I was in High School, but looking at that crude misogynistic humor now all I feel is disgust.
Also Beavis and Butthead. Can't believe I ever found those 2 morons funny.

OH MY GOD GET OUT OF MY MIIIIIND-

I mean, yes. Yes to what you have written here. Only difference was I started with Robotech while it was on TV in the late eighties, and missed Fist Of The North Star entirely. In fact, I really never thought of myself as a 'true' anime fan- these all felt to me like low hanging fruit- easy to devour for anyone.

As a kid, pretty much certain 80's and 90's films and films like
Adventure in Dinosaur City.
Linkin Park (well ok I was in my teen but whatever, I just cring that I used to liked them!)
Kindergarden Cop.

As an adult-
Tea.
Forrest Gump (as a kid I found it boring and not understand it properly)
Those extreme rollacosta rides.
Certain junks food like Pizza and Burger (what? I was a very PICKY when it come to food as a kid).
Very surgary foods like poptarts. I don't hate them now per say, just that my teeth no longer can handle the sugar (ironic that when I was a kid, I did had to go to the dentest for said eating too much sugar).

As an individual under the age of 18 (or 21 in some circumstances), I used to adore long walks on the beach, smooth jazz and fine dining.

However, as an individual above the age of 18 (or 21 in some circumstances), I no longer enjoy long walks on the beach. I hate sand. It's coarse and rough and irratating and it gets everywhere.

As a kid:

Star Wars. Gods, I loved Star Wars. Now I kind of hate it. Episodes 4, 5, and Rogue One are still fun to watch, though.

Candy. I still like chocolate and toffee, but fruit flavored sugar sticks, not so much.

As an adult:

Beer. Gods, I love beer. Dark beer, light beer. Bitters, lagers. None of those fucking IPAs though, those things are awful.

Sleep. I used to view it as almost punishment. Now, it's the best part of my day.

Heavy metal. Honestly, I think I just didn't have enough exposure to the genre. Now it's basically all I listen to. Than and classical.

Pretty much this for me.

Surprisingly though, a lot of the stuff I liked as a kid transferred over easily to my adulthood. For example, in movies, Titan A.E. Loved it as a teen and still love it now as a mature adult, appreciating what and how many original and awesome ideas it had and also taking old ideas and combining them in new cool ways. My father was a big sci-fi reader back in the day. Like, a ton of fantasy and sci-fi books. And even he can't tell me a single story that's fully like that movie.

GTFO, sand. You are the worst.

Used to love Star Wars, now at best, I tolerate it. Used to like TNG but then I found DS9 and Babylon 5. TNG wont get watched again.

Used to hate vegemite, now I think its pretty good. Opposite for Chocolate and red meat.
