I got Spotify a while ago. To make sure that I got my money's worth, I decided to try all kinds of different music, and when that happened, I discovered a weird thing about myself. Something that it took me 25 years of living to learn.

I really enjoy polka.

IS there anything about yourself that you discovered recently?

See, I knew straight from high school that I had the ability to cripple people emotionally with words, people who generally deserved it, but it was not until more recently that I was aware of how good I was at doing the reverse.

Not discovered but I recently rediscovered that I am actually really happy being single and am capable of making new friends pretty easily.

I think I was in a bit of a rut and had completely forgotten that I could.

I never knew I would miss Highschool and all the friends I made there as much as I do.

After not seeing any of them for a couple months, I finally got to hang with my old marching band buddies. When I was having fun it finally hit me that I really miss just messing around with them at the lunch table in class.

Sure I've made some friends in college, but none compare to my highschool friends.

My curiosity has peaked and I just realized that it will not go away until I know about this particular fetish of yours... (I can take it...)

OT: I... am such a dick... My sense of randomness in my attitude has cause such pain to those who try to get to know me better... I would apologize, but they knew the risk going in... (#dickmove)

Despite not actually being a bisexual, per se, I would literally date anyone and would probably wait until they break up with me...

I take the whole "equality" thing more serious that most... so, I tend to end up in heated arguments about "hitting women" and stuff of that nature... It annoys me when they lead to no resolution or the "agree to disagree" portion of the conversation...

Just last week, I looked in my bathroom mirror and realized that my face looks older than my actual age...

I read more doujins than I do mangas...

Everything else I would say after that would be me lying under my own teeth... in terms of not knowing til just recently... ("You're becoming more like your father..." -FPLOON speaking to himself)

This might just be me but I think i'm actually good at making people laugh. I say whatever first comes to mind and people usually laugh.

Also I keep at least three separate anime series open on my internet tabs at all times just to remind me to watch them later... Fuckin' stupid.

I really like learning things too. There's a reason I picked up League of Legends, four separate fighting games and Starcraft 2 at the same time.

The only reason i'm not adding DOTA 2 to the list is because the gameplay and general game engine is agonizing. I have never shouted "PATHFINDING PLEASE!" more at any other game than DOTA 2. 10/10 best game design, would not change a thing.

Come ON dude. That teaser is far too mysterious to leave alone. PMs exist for a reason, i'll share if you do. :3

Well, since you *actually* have a sex life yours are probably more entertaining than mine but hey, girls are weird amirite?

Well, I guess I've still got a few issues with my temper. Didn't want to admit it, but it's true. I highly suspect my neighbour took my cat and killed him. That kinda set it off. So now I'm mad and looking for evidence.

I recently learned that I don't actually hate JRPGS. I just didn't like where the art direction had been going.

Have you seen Khanacademy.org ? It's full of things you can learn for free, like calculus!

I'm so strong emotionally, it's wonderful knowing that I came out on top. I've had so much shit thrown at me in recent years and I just keep going and keep smiling and helping others in the situations that I've been in to see the light at the end.

I also took up baking and am getting fairly good at that. I used to fail at it but one day I decided to just get a cookbook and do it step by step and they turned out great.

As the say, never trust a skinny chef xD

I used to work with a guy who I *thought* was like that, but he was actually the most cynical person I'd ever met. For him it was always an act, when he was actually honest with you it was Chilling, also sad. I'm not saying that's you. Also baking is the best thing ever.

Nothing recently, but I got something along the lines of what FalloutJack said. I discovered when I was younger that I had a great ability to manipulate people. My confidence as well as lack of empathy and feelings of guilt made it a piece of cake and damn did I abuse it. The talent was lost after I got social phobia however. Really miss it now that I'm stuck job hunting.

What I mainly used it for is best left unsaid.

Oh no, I'm as happy and cheerful as I appear online :) (I hope, I do like to moan about things like a grumpy old man sometimes :p)
There's not much point putting an act on because it's too hard to keep up.
IRL and online when someone has a problem I have a tendency to help them whichever way I can, even if they don't ask for it.

I get what you mean with that guy, though. I once knew a girl who would act like your best friend and act like she cared about you, listened to your problems and tried to give advice. In reality she'd just talk to get some gossip on you and to learn things about you that she could use against you in later arguments :/

I could never imagine using a persons insecurities against them. I always aim to make people feel good about themselves.

I always thought being a teacher was the worst job you could possibly have.
Now I have a job as a tutor and I'm so goddamn excited. I'm planning miles in advance as if I'm organizing my wedding or something.

Even when someone has hurt me in the most personal, emotional way possible and I feel as if I want to hurt them back with everything I've got... I still can't do it. I came close but I could not do it. I have a strong sense of self and I don't want to violate my own code of honor over someone who clearly never was worth it.

I couldn't have known this about myself without being brought down to the lowest point possible. I'm still bouncing back but I'm done with the anger.

Sophomore or junior year of college, I realized that I'm transgendered. It started as a joke my friends made about how I'm so serious about feminism that I probably should been a woman. Then they started asking questions about what my name would be and stuff like that. As it went on, I became aware of the fact that the idea of being a woman was making me really happy. The more I thought about it, the more sense it made. Unfortunately, several years later I'm still in the closet and only brave enough to come out to strangers on the internet (though I'm pretty sure some of my friends know, since I wear dresses or skirts any chance I get)

I've come to realize I don't like fried chicken. Or rather I don't like the skin of the chicken similar to how I don't like the fat of a piece of meat. I always peeled the skin off when I eat it so yeah I just not like eating it.
...
Yeah that's it so far, nothing too personal I guess.

The sheer amount I have connected certain country songs with my hometown, family, and brothers by choice. The fact that I've come to the Citadel and have become so separated from it all has made those songs really emotional for me, and I love it and loath it at the same time.

I have also rediscovered I have an incredible mean streak if I am pushed in the right way. I get straight homicidal and violent for about 20 seconds if I am pushed the right way. Interestingly enough, it never really happens when I am A: Holding a knife or firearm or B: In a position of responsibility. I suppose my better angels come out.

I discovered not too long ago that I'm good at listening to people complain. At least where I work. Everyone there seems to come to me to complain about someone or something else at work. Probably because I mostly just listen and sometimes give me agreement, while if it's about a person, I won't tell that other person.
