Forgive me Escapist community. I know I swore I would never do it but i'm now that massive ****** in League who builds Blue Ezreal every single game... I was nagged into trying it by my duo partner and I got a fucking penta in my TEST game. You do not have cooldowns. Your Mystic Shot is literally on full machine gun mode and it slows people.

Next thing you know i'll be playing Ragna and Jin in BlazBlue... Fucking kill me if I ever do that.

So yeah anyone got anything like that? Doesn't have to be LoL related at all.

Getting mad at video games...

About a year ago, I went absolutely berserk while playing a game of FIFA. A cracked trash can, a broken latch on a door, and a hole in the wall later, I felt like an absolute dip-shit for getting so upset at a video game.

A few weeks ago, I broke a key on my keyboard playing Resonance of Fate. I suppose it's baby steps that it's just a key on a keyboard and not something else but this is not a good way to deal with a video game making me upset! :)

So I've vowed never to let my anger at a game get the best of me ever again. I'm relatively certain that I will do it again...

But that's a console game...

OT: I don't really swear to not do... well, anything... I dunno, maybe competitive multi-player, and then I played a little bit of LoL? Haven't touched it in months though. There are a bunch of things I have sworn I'd do that I have yet to actually do though, mostly along the lines of "Finish [Games X, Y, and Z]".

Yes it is. I live in a studio apartment and so one of the effects of that is that my computer and my gaming console are right next to each other.

Tippy2k2 just wanted to smash. Computer desk (with said keyboard) was the closest thing within punching distance...

Read walkthroughs for survival horrors and JRPG's. Sometimes I just cannot figure out what to do and I know that if I look at one once, I'll probably end up doing it again. But there are times where I just have to use the internet (I'm relatively young and have grown up with games that nurture the player like a puppy). I fucking hate doing it because I feel it takes the fun away, but I just can't help myself sometimes.

Throwing it probably would've gotten far more hilarious results.

Especially if it was still plugged in. Though only if the cord isn't too long.

Of course, it probably would've been far more damaging in the end, too. :D I have such great, productive ideas.

I once decided to never play as Eddy or Christie in Tekken, and I never did!
THE END

No, actually, I promised to not let competitive multiplayer games to darken my mood. My friend becomes a real prick whenever he loses a Dota game, and his behavior just brings everyone in party down. So, I said to myself "hey, it's just a game, don't get mad". And then I've played my first multiplayer match in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 against Eddy/Christie team... that didn't go well.

I laughed out loud at this.

I said I'd never buy a brand new car, but I caved and have bought 2 within the past year alone. :x

Within the context of video games, I swore I'd never pre-order another video game... but I ended up pre-ordering The Last of Us 2 nights before it came out. Damn you E3.

JUST A GAME?! HOW VERY DARE YOU SIR!

Well, DOTA 2 is just a game to fuck around in to me personally because all my DOTA games are about which team has the smurf on it who knows what he's doing and/or whichever team decides to group up first and do something other than fannying around in their lanes forever. I just instalock Phantom Assassin every game. It's nice to be able to do that really, one of the nice things about having no set meta.

League is spr srs bsns I will have you know. Absolutely no fun allowed.

I swore to never to return to League of Legends, but I did. And then I quit and swore again and then I came back again.

My excuse was: "I'm better than this, I just had bad luck, I will climb higher". NOPE, fuck me for being so naive. Fact is with the new system you need to play about 600+ hours at 55% winrate to climb anywhere decent. Very demotivating numbers. Especially if it's 600 hours of zero fun at your 'elo' or whatever.

I swore that I'd never trust anyone again.

But I didn't have to.

You had me at "hello".

Pre-order. I've done it a couple times. I haven't been disappointed yet, but it's something I don't think I should do.

Also using the recipes on the back of boxes and bags. Why? Because I usually already have the recipes that I'm used to and are already pretty good, but then I see the recipe on the back of the box/bag and I try them - they never turn out right. Sometimes I even try them again because I just assume that I didn't do it right. Always say I'll never do that again,...but I do. It's a vicious cycle.

This. Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3, and Black Ops 2. And after every one I swore I would never do it again. Why must I cave to peer pressure? Also, why can't my friends play more interesting games?

I just noticed that your avatar blinks. It terrified me lol. I'd be reading your posts and out of the corner of my eye I swore I saw your avatar move, but then I;d watch it for a bit and it wouldn;t move. I thought I was going crazy :p
Sorry, just had to say that.

OT: Pretty much the above. I rage a lot at games, especially when they;re unfair or I'm doing awesome and then get roflstomped all of a sudden.
Controllers get flown or snapped in half, my wall loses a fist sized chunk or two, glass cups get shattered, etc.

I keep saying "I'll control myself next time" but then I break something again :/
I'm getting better though! Only one hole in my new home's wall and my controllers only have a few loose bits inside from some light throwing!

I swore that I would not become a serial killer in Skyrim like I was in Morrowind and Oblivion. I did pretty good, all things considered. And then one day when I was tired, I killed that Talos priest in Whiterun, dragged his body to the water, and left him naked there. I then remembered that I wasn't supposed to do it, and then went and killed more people.

My killing spree in Skyrim started up when I realized how much fun it had been.

And then I pussed out like a ***** and reloaded.
-----
I once swore that I would never, ever kill my dog in Minecraft, back when wolves were introduced. I built him his own little doghouse, named him, and then got bored and killed him.
-----
There was also that time I decided I was going to play all of Disgaea 4 without using custom characters, as I tend to make my first custom character my "main" one, and level him to 9999. I had to sit back and think about where it all went wrong as my team leveled in the thousands kicked Baal's ass, and the main characters hadn't reached sixty.
-----
And then there was also the one where I decided to play through Skyward Sword with as minimal upgraded equipment as possible. I had the best of everything in the game by the end.
-----
And then there was the time I decided not to fight Majora as Fierce Deity Link, and have as few masks as possible. I had all masks, and hearts by the end, something I'd never really been able to accomplish without seriously going out of my way. Still ended up using Fierce Deity Link as well.

And I just thought of a bunch more, but this has gone on for too long already.

I moderate on a Minecraft server, so I get a few perks- creative mode, invisibility etc. which, coincidentally make for hilarious trolling (of the regular players, honest). After the fifth time of replacing someone's walls with silverfish blocks I told myself 'never again'.

Two days later, I'm filling someone's living room with squid.
