Forgive me Escapist community. I know I swore I would never do it but i'm now that massive ****** in League who builds Blue Ezreal every single game... I was nagged into trying it by my duo partner and I got a fucking penta in my TEST game. You do not have cooldowns. Your Mystic Shot is literally on full machine gun mode and it slows people.

Next thing you know i'll be playing Ragna and Jin in BlazBlue... Fucking kill me if I ever do that.

So yeah anyone got anything like that? Doesn't have to be LoL related at all.
Oh please, there are worse things than Blue Ezreal. You could be playing Teemo for a start.

OT: I keep swearing that I'll never buy another Call of Duty and that I'll never ever EVER pay for map packs ever again. I bought Black Ops 2 and the first map pack. I just feel cheated by Call of Duty now. It's nothing like the game I fell in love with 6 years ago any more. It looks similar, superficially, but it's dead. The community is now completely toxic, the amateur leagues and competitions have been slowly dying since MW2, the campaigns are getting worse with each passing game, the level and weapon designs are getting worse and worse, weapon-balance is all but non-existent (SMG's, as favoured by run and gun players, outclass all other weapons) and removing community run servers (where you can level up, unlock weapons, etc) has all but killed my clan.

Fuck Activision, Fuck Infinity Ward and Fuck Treyarch. They murdered my favourite game series.

Well, typing all this out has really made me feel better, so I think I'll actually post my rant this time.

This. Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, Modern Warfare 3, and Black Ops 2. And after every one I swore I would never do it again. Why must I cave to peer pressure? Also, why can't my friends play more interesting games?
I feel your pain. Although Black Ops had a good competitive scene on PC, for a while. But the beginning of the end for CoD was MW2. As soon as they took the servers away, CoD was lost. The console players don't normally care because it doesn't effect them, but PC gaming lost a fantastic series with MW2 and the direction they're taking the series is all wrong.

I have no faith in Ghosts. I will not buy Ghosts. I will not even have Ghosts bought for me. I am done with Call of Duty.

My experience was similar, but with GTA 4. Of course, I regretted it soon after.

I wanted to play through Skyrim without looking at the Wiki. I couldn't. I encountered my first quest-destroying bug, and that was it, I had to check fucking everything. I couldn't clear an area before I knew if there was some bug involving perhaps one of the enemies not respawning and being needed for a quest later. Killed it for me, really.

Another thing, buy another Assassin's Creed. I broke that for the most recent one, and the next one is tempting me. Thing is, I hate Ubisoft's bullshit, and I also resent the way the whole series is going, and didn't particularly enjoy the last one. But the next one'll have more ships...

I made a build in dark souls built solely around tranquil walk of peace, iron flesh, and dark magic, with four stacks of dark bead and two pursuers. It is literally like an easy button for pvp. The ganks, they just......they just became far too assholish. I mean what would you have done!? I had giantdads doing the 'well what is it?" pose and pointing down at me, me! With my fun as hell cospvp builds. So I fought the tryhards by trying even harder.
I feel your pain. I have a massive amount of characters, so some were bound to be tryhard, but I had a phase where I used Pursuers. Pursuers of all things. And one where I used a Darkmoon Blade Falchion. I've never used TWoP, but only because I can't use it properly. But yes, it's a sad spiral where you just get ganked one too many times and decide there's no other way.

My solution was to have tryhard gear on hand and if I invaded a gank squad, switch to that, but otherwise have some fun. Another thing I did though, as a bit of an excuse, was become an avid RTSR user - which is theoretically a high-risk, high-reward playstyle, but in reality is pure fun all the time.

Dear Dota community,

I am sorry to say that even though I promised to not play Meepo, I will attempt to instalock him as much as possible as Blink + Poof (net optional, recommended for teamfights) is now my favorite trick to use against someone squishy.

Regards,
thesilentman

... I kid you not.

I also tried to keep myself away from Steam as much as possible back when I was on my "ALL DRM IZ EVIL" spree, but fuck it, the rewards outweighed the negatives. That, and I had yet to be introduced to Dota 2... @_@

I swore to never buy another Call of Duty game after World at War, and I stayed true. This was until my sister bought Black Ops 2, and I played and beat it on veteran two days later. Technically, I stayed true to my promise, to never buy it, but I never said a thing about playing or other people buying it through no input of my own.

I will never built another fighter/weaponmaster combo in Neverwinter Nights 1.

... what's that? A unique longsword? Damn it would be cool if I could make a character that could use it effectively.

*twenty minutes later*

...right so I need to take a level in expertise now so that I will be able to take the whirlwind feat...

I can't stop playing that one class.

That's a great tagline:

Masturbate.

Every damn time.

Serious response: After leaving one retail job, I swore I'd never work in that area again. And yet, I somehow ended up working at Argos...

I gave up any ambition of working in the game industry after my time at Activision.

Years later I now own my own game company, Skylance Studio. I just couldn't get game design out of my blood, but I wouldn't allow myself to go back to work for a big publisher again.
But what if you became a big publisher? Would you quit?

Important questions!

Blue Ezreal played properly is a challenge to beat, but Teemo inspires uncontrollable, foaming at the mouth, red-mist rage that leads to more losses for me than any other champion. I'm working on that though.

If I were in power I would have Teemo players branded and shunned by civilised society.

...I swore I would never get as wound up by video games as a friend of mine does. Seriously, the way he yells at the screen would be hilarious... if it wasn't so cringe-worthy to see a grown man doing so. Every little tiny weeny thing gets him screaming and I have to wonder, why play video games if they cause you that much frustration? They're supposed to be fun!
I have, of course, had my moments of yelling-at-the-screen... Of which I am ashamed. But thankfully they're limited to me wondering what the fuck the game is doing. Or possibly "DAAAAAMN YOOOOU for getting a crit just then!" Heh.

Outside of games... I swore off dairy when I developed lactose intolerance. I prefer soy milk anyway and soy spread is a perfectly acceptable butter substitute, and my fiance swears the shift has helped his digestion too. But every now and again I'll just HAVE to have a pasta dish with a nice cheese topping, or some pizza, and then that evening I remember why I swore off it. But it tastes so good. I have a cheese problem.

I always read gamefaqs walkthroughs while playing a game for the first time. I know I shouldn't, but my massive OCD-like tendencies of wanting to have 100% completion every time means I cannot deal with the knowledge that playing a game 'blind' would mean missing random collectibles.

Forgive me father, for I have sinned...

I promised myself to not buy a 3DS, Kingdom Hearts and Monster Hunter were calling me but their siren song just wasn't enough alone.
Then Pokemon was announced, I snapped and had to buy it.
Now my money is gone and I am feeling a bitter sweet sadness.

You belong in a museum! You belong in a museum! You belong in a museum! You belong in a museum! You belong in a museum!

Hey if you're going for pure kiting bullshit Ezreal you might as well go the whole way. The cooldown is so short that the time it takes for Ezreal to say his taunt is Mystic Shot's cooldown. Lolololololol

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Buy blops 2, I never actually bought a cod game, I got cod 4 with a video card I bought and really enjoyed it, my friend got me mw3 when I was in one of my 'needing a twitch game' moods, the story was silly and stupid but the multi was fun. I ended up getting into another twitchy mood when blops 2 was on steam sale and gave in.
