Tv shows. I don't know if I hate them, but they're certainly just wastes of time for me. I don't know if the writing has gotten lazier and cheap, but in my youth I used to love watching TV and getting invested, but these days I get bored within moments and the plots are terrible. My brother tried to get me to watch the Good Place, and within the first episode I had guessed every twist in the show and just lost all interest.
Tried watching the new Lost in Space and again figured out the twists within the first episode and lost all interest again.

Chalk another one for Pokemon.
I'd describe it as going from obsession to indifference rather than love/hate though.

MisterMetokur, formerly InternetAristocrat. Back when I was like 20 I was... well, I was a fucking dumbass who unironically thought of people as "Social Justice Warriors". I thought Metokur was a guy who made fun of the right people but... yeah, the guy's a tool, plain and simple. To think that there was a time where I supported GamerGate. God, I was a retard. Only realized just how far gone that movement was when most of its figureheads resurfaced as Trump cheerleaders.
It is why I refused to take a side during that dumb fiasco. Everyone was persecuting each other nothing, taking "sides", and hurting others in the crossfire. Gamergate/Anti-gamergate accomplished nothing but showing people their true colors, with almost no one, albeit some minor few to benefit from it.

MovieBob. I liked him, not loved, but that later went to hate and despise. See the first paragraph above. Plus, his movie reviews got worse, and clearly, there cases of him giving false parts of a movie or a particular scene to fill his own agenda. And there some cases where he wasn't paying clear attention.

Pokemon. Not hate, but indifference. I still don't mind looking at fan art or fan comics though.

Legend of Korra - Hated the first two seasons, but liked 3 & 4. Now, I can't even bother to watch any of them, because the writing is too frustrating, and filled with either unlikable and useless characters. Mainly the side characters in 3 & 4.

Dexter's Lab - Fuck DeeDee. She ruins the show.

Tom & Jerry - They're both assholes really not worth rooting for, though I always wanted Tom to win, even if Jerry deserved the win.

The Simpsons - The show became crap after season 6.

Family Guy - Season 7 disaster killed it for me. Seth and writers clearly have big ego up their own asses, and don't know how to carry a message. Why do people keep giving these people work again? And clearly someone has axe to grind against Disney. If you don't know why, one of Seth's writers left to work for Disney's animated shows (one of them being Gravity Falls). It's obvious none of them got over it, and act like jilted bitches in high school that deserve everything in life.

Sandwiches. I've been lazy with my cooking the past couple months and I'm growing tired of eating just sandwiches. They've become...almost functional as food.

The Walking Dead. Now granted I watched it for the first six or whatever seasons but when the latest one was on, I just had such little desire to watch it for some reason. I might catch up eventually but for now, I just have no will to bother.

Punk. I was a massive punk rock and third wave ska kid in high school. I listened to the whole Fat Wreck lineup. I loved The Dead Kennedys and The Forgotten Rebels. I was a massive Offspring fan. I owned all their albums and I went to Warped Tour almost every year. Anything SoCal, I was down. When I left my hometown and went off to uni, I felt my music tastes change and slowly grew out of it (this was also the start of emo, which I hated, so that helped). And in retrospect, a lot of it was pretty childish stuff. Singing about girls and getting high and rebelling against parents and other dumb, adolescent shit.

Tarantino. When I was in high school and early uni, I loved his films. Then Kill Bill Vol. 1 came out, everyone I knew worshipped it like it was the return of Jesus and also you got a handy with every ticket and I didn't care for it. I realized that a lot of his stuff, while very stylish and sometimes clever, lacked a lot of substance. Most of his films are well-acted and fun but not especially deep, in my humble opinion.

Loved Star wars Galaxies Pre CU, Hated Star wars Galaxies post CU, but everyone did, so that was not news. Loved Guild Wars 1, Tolerated Guild Wars 2 though they didn't do most of what they said they were going to do, then came to hate Guild Wars 2 once they ruined WvW with their PvE BS, made it even more pay to win and awful desert maps.

Maybe, but I'd say there's plenty of the opposite too. Things that remained more or less the same, while the person themselves changed. So, two patterns?

Actually, three. The thread about hating things you used to love seems to have more traction than my own about loving things you used to hate. Does that means people like hating things more than they do loving?

I'd say, if you loved something, it takes a lot of hate to break that love. I had trouble with your thread because there aren't that many things I actually hate in the world.

Also, even my points were overplayed. I actually enjoyed Rogue One, because its the example of complexity that you don't see in Star Wars.

I dont hate Baulder's Gate. But I know that I'm done with the series. It also gets messed up with my opinion that people call it good writing for video games, that I think is somewhat unfounded. I get cranky when people over reach with their statements. But then I did it here... so there's that

Cider - The alcoholic variety I should specify. Used to drink it all the time when I was younger. At some point though it stopped agreeing with me. Even the smell of it now is enough to turn my stomach

Online multiplayer - I don't know if I'd ever say I loved it but I certainly enjoyed it a lot and it probably made up about 50% of my gaming. Primarily CoD, Gears of War and a bit of Halo. In the last few years though I've completely lost interest. I wouldn't say I hate it now but most games now I won't even bother with the multiplayer unless there's a few easy/fun achievements to unlock. I think Titanfall 1 was the last game I put any significant amount of time into online. Played Titanfall 2 recently and literally player the multiplayer for like a half hour just to unlock the 3 achievements and haven't touched it since.

Also, Anime. More specific, fanservice-y trope-laden otaku-oriented anime, which seems to be the large majority of all anime being made. Got entirely weary of that stuff. I'm sure there are still exceptions, but I don't have the interest anymore to dig through piles of crap to find stuff I like. I'll stick to manga. Offers a much wider range of styles and subject matter anyway.
I can't say anything for manga, as I'm not a regular reader of them, but I have to second the fan-service laden anime (movies and tv shows as well). I used to enjoy them when I was younger (and before I got my own computer) but now I just find them tedious and frankly patronizing rather than titillating. Plus I don't see any point in the softcore/pseudo-nudity of fanservice when I have access to full-on porn (live action and hentai).
Honestly fanservice is a massive putoff for me now. I watched about 10 minutes of astericks war, and the protaganist had walked in on a girl getting changed, accidently groped her, a few upskirt shots and then the thing that really took the piss was the higher ranking girl having huge (like, in reality around J cup) tits despite being 14. Really guys, just watch some porn, it's not even meant to be a harem anime.

I'll admit it's kinda weird to read up on Clone wars and rebels on TVTROPES and watch all these arguments in the "Headscratchers" sections which pretty much devolve to "But in the EU......". Yeah, hate to break it to you but the EU was a giant sprawling mess and even if Disney hadn't retconned it, people would still be bitching that their favorite interpretation of SW lore wasn't the one featured in the shows/movies.

Pretty much any internet critic I've lost interest in. Nostalia Critic, Honest Trailers, Linkara I grew tired of a lot of the nitpicking and the whole angry" reviewer shtick. A lot of them would get stuff about the movie just wrong and would take stuff completely out of context or ignore what was said in the movie just for a sake of a bad joke.

And I ABSOLUTELY HATE How It Should Have Ended and CinemaSins. But I was never really a fan of those two to begin with. And the whole CS is satire argument is BS

Only two I really like these days are SF Debris and Good Bad Flicks. (Escapist- you really need to hire this guy again)

Hollywood.
I used to love the movies and was fond of the people making them when i was a kid but over the years, I've learned that it's a cesspool of filth, full of absolute degenerates who pretend to be saints, who do some of the most disgusting things while lecturing the rest of society on morality and decency.
Also, most of the movies are just shallow cash grabs with very little to no substance.

Junk food.
As a kid, I used to indulge on that stuff. Now, I'm the opposite. I actually feel bad after eating something unhealthy, especially if it's full of sugar.

Action scenes in media.
Unless it's something truly amazing like the fight choreography in The Raid movies or Police Story, I tend to lose interest. I hate watching the CGI action in most modern movies.
For example, my favorite parts of things like Dragonball is the filler where the characters just interact with each other which is the complete opposite to what interested me 20 years ago.

On the flipside, I used to hate romance related media, so much so that I always skipped the romance subplots in movies etc. Now, I can't get enough of that stuff (my fav orite anime of the last few years is Recovery of an MMO Junkie which might be the most adorable series I've ever seen).

"Hate" is a strong word, but if I shift the criteria to "stuff I used to like but now dislike" (note that this isn't the same as just losing interest), I can nominate:

-Dragon Ball Z (already ranted against this numerous times, won't do it here)

-Red vs. Blue (as much as I loved seasons 1-6, and found seasons 7-8 bearable, the Freelancer era (seasons 9-10) killed it for me. I absolutely detest what the show became)

-Warhammer 40,000 (while I can't say I dislike it per se, I'm far less enamored than I once was. A lot of it comes off as juvenile to me now)

-Family Guy (for reasons that should be obvious)

-Cinema Sins (while I've become disenchanted with a lot of reviewers (as Baron lists), Cinema Sins is arguably the only one that shifted to actual dislike. It started off funny, but the schitck got old, and it bothers me that so many people treat it as actual film criticism rather than nitpicking)

Glad to see another fan of Cecil(GoodBadFlicks). Yeah, I lost a lot of love for most internet critics, though many from Channel Awesome I never liked to begin with. Linkara and Bennett's are the only ones I watch, and Bennett left the channel years ago. Ironically, at the time, he was one of the worse ones, but actually put effort into making his content better. Though Linkara, I only watch occasionally. CinemaSins and Honest Trailers pretty much follow trends at this point, CinemaSins got too aggravating, annoying, and Jeremy became a cynical ass claiming to be "against the system" and hiding behind "satire". *****, you are part of the system, and all of the cynical marketing it employs. I'll still watch Honest Trailer some of the time, but I hate their videos on Man of Steel and Crash Bandicoot (that was more so the Smosh's writing team. but you could still tell the HT were dicking around too). It was just them insulting fans of those properties, and claiming they were fools for liking or enjoying them. Or speaking the "truth" and making their opinion a fact. Um, excuse me, but there is a reason the Crash trilogy outsold Horizon Zero Dawn on opening week on PS4. More people are going to positively remember Crash the likes of Aero the Acrobat, Croc, or fucking Bubsy! Because of the success of the remake, Crash has a new audience of young gamers that are now fans. So what do you say to that, dickwads?

Because of this, I rarely check out the Honest Game Trailers with some exceptions being the Devil May Cry and Bayonetta video. The latter was good and would've been better had they not done a pointless dig at anime fans. Which is really hypocritical of the Smosh staff. Who were you trying to appeal to? The 20 odd anime haters in your audience. Great job boys and gals! You're doin da Lawds wok! How It Should Have Ended I rarely has problems with, and I enjoy the content they put out. As far as internet critics, I recommend: Double Toasted (formerly Spill), Rossatron (this dude knows about action movies and is very articulate), WhiteLight, and Raycevick. None of them don't have that "angry" review style that has mostly died off with some few exceptions.

Horror movies. Maybe it's because I've seen so many and I can see all the scares coming a mile away. I sometimes still go see them, at the insistence of friends, but it's really rare that one still fazes me. I just sit there waiting for it to be over.
If you ever change your mind, I'll help you out what anime great, if you're looking something with good story, character, and as little fan-service as possible. Do not hesitate to contact me.

No but it was founded by Trent Oster, one of Bioware's founders, and presumably other former Bioware employees, and seems to have gained the ability to do these. They are working hard on making their updates to Neverwinter Nights be more than just a port though.

And if there is anyone I currently trust most to inherit Bioware's good legacy, it is them. I would love if they made a NWN3, or KotoR 3.

I hate them now too, but for the opposite reason. I have no idea why I used to try and scare myself watching those things. A kind of self-punishment maybe?

Huge, sprawling JRPGs. They were my jam back on the PS1.

These days, who has the time? Any 100 hour game out there can be cut in half at least.
