The question is fairly straight-forward. It could be a concept, setting, genre or a new game altogether.
Personally i'd like to see a final fantasy style rpg with QTEs. Now before the trolls come I'd like to remind you that rpgs do lack action. It would be used mostly for special attacks not visual flair.
(I think i heard about a game doing this so i don't know if i'm being original).

The gamers/people who play games have SPOKEN!!!1!! heed our words game developers!

The first two Paper Mario games did that, if I remember correctly. It's not really FF styled though, I dunno.

An FPS with actually decent melee systems.

Exploration as the main mechanic and driving force of the game.

I recently finished Knytt, which Yahtzee says has the same idea of exploration as SOTC has.

I couldn't believe that such a simple free game had me gripped.

We need more of these type of games as they're a nice break from the usual generic nonsense.

I'd like to see localized body damage in Shooters (third or first person), complete with realistic bleeding. For example, setting off a grenade, mine or C-4 charge blows people to pieces. Though having a game with mutilated, dismembered bodies lying around in pools of blood might push the game into A.O. territory.

a flight sim where you can also play as the pilot on ground missions, just like in some divisions of the air force. also, split screen flight sims.

Well Interstellar Marines is coming out, is that close enough?

I also think that a super hero game using the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine would be awesome.

a decent space RPG (not MMO, other players would just dick it up)
not mass effect, but like being the captain of a star ship, maybe some third person shooter action, you know, like what star trek online was SUPPOSED to be

More Diversity for Classes in Class based Games.

Fire Emblem would be an excellent place to look for inspiration.
