Things you're ashamed of for not watching/playing

So, with all the media in our world today, there's simply SOOO much to see, we can't see it all. But sometimes, there's something that EVERYONE seems to love, but you just haven't gotten around to watching/playing yet.

This is a thread for that. The games/movie/tv shows/anime/etc that you just KNOW you need to see, but just haven't yet.

Mine has to be Gurren Lagenn. See, I LOVE Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, and I love over-the-top crazy anime, so I KNOW I'd love this, but I just haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

Also, I've been meaning to play Killer 7. Big No More Heroes fan here.

So, what about you guys?

I'm ashamed at not finishing any Final Fantasy except for 13.

I mean, I've played *all* of the main non-MMO numbered titles. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10-2, 12, 13.

So, really, there's no excuse.

I get to the final dungeon...and just...stop playing. I think it's because I attempt 100% completion, which just crushes my spirit. Final Fantasy 13 forces me to beat the story to unlock my full Crystalarium.

I'm also ashamed at still not having seen "The Dark Knight". This needs more TV airings. Because I'm never gonna get around to getting it via Netflix, with so much anime on the queue.

I haven't got around to playing Team Fortress 2 because I'm too scared of being in a learning curve with online men I don't know, there I said it. *hides*

I'm annoyed with myself for having only watched the first episode of Durarara!!.

It looks like a cool series and i've heard great things about it. Every time I get in the mood to watch it though something comes up or I get distracted by something else.

I've also yet to watch anything Haruhi Suzumiya. Same story as Durarara!!, stuff just keeps comming up.

OT: I'm sort of ashamed for never finishing FF's VIII and IX, more so VIII as I was on the final disc then sort of just stopped. Out of all the ones I've played, VII to X-2 then XIII, those are the only two that remained unfinished. But apart from that, nothing else springs to mind.

war games, highlander, star trek (all the movies), evil dead, the secret of nimh, tron, and a few others.

Trust me it's not bad, and you'll quickly learn to love the game, and then learning how to play will follow shortly there-after. It also recently introduced a coaching feature so that people can volunteer to help newbies.

I'm ashamed that I've never even touched any of the Resistance games, Uncharted games, or any game that's come out on the Wii.
I like to think I can give everything a chance but...ugh.

I haven't played shadow of the colossus and I really, really want to. Its just really hard to find and it's really expensive on ebay... Also the only idian jones I have seen is 4...

I'm not going through the whole game again just for the ending. I got Yojimbo, Anima, Magus Sisters and all of that stuff.

Hell, all of those games will remain forever unfinished.

I've never played Resident Evil.

I love survivor horror
I like it more when it's Japanese

but all this time I've been siding with Silent Hill because I like the psychological aspect of it best. Zombies are everywhere now . . . I like the epidemic part of it, S.T.A.R.S., and the fact that it was a genetic engineering incident with other side effects being those lizard-monster-things . . .

but I never tried any of them . . . I'm working on it, and I'm starting with numero uno, or at least it's remake

It saddens me that I can't bring myself to watch Batman: The Animated Series. The art style is just so bad.

I have never played a Sonic game. I am honestly kind of glad, considering the root he has taken in the last decade. I have also never seen Casablanca, and I have only seen one star trek film.

...Ouch. Yeah, I don't think it'd be worth replaying it after you lose a file that big. Plus the hassle of getting everything again wouldn't be worth it, nor would be the grinding to level up enough so the Dark Aeons don't insta-kill you.

Still looks good for its age though, I think. Well, the cut scenes at least.

I can play 4, 7, 8, 9 on PSP now. Probably 5 and 6 soon, too.

But I have better PSP stuff that'll offer 100% new experiences to play, honestly.

It saddens me that I can't bring myself to watch Batman: The Animated Series. The art style is just so bad.

The art deco quality may grow on you, and it does get better and more consistent as the series continues.

Hell, after really exposing myself to that series I found it hard to go back to some of the Batman comic artwork.
