well im not embarrasssed to do this but sometimes ill let off a huge f bomb (screaming and cussing alot) and record it and then play it back but one time my mom came home while i was doing that and i got in trouble

For me, even when no one is in my house I still feel too embarrased to try and pratice my vocals, whether it's singing or screaming. I don't know why, maybe because when I try I sound terrible and even though no one can hear and I can practice without sounding crazy or foolish I still can't bring myself to sing or scream properly.

just start on something easy, what music do you listen to, I'll send you some stuff that I find easy.

Well I was trying to sing Bullet For My Valentine - Hand of Blood, my clean vocals were somewhat on key but not so smooth, and I couldn't pull off the screaming appropiately, and it also threw off my singing, for me it's hard on the throat to quickly scream then sing or vice versa.

Well I listen to mostly pure metal so sometimes it's mostly growls,screams, or screeching and sometimes clean operatic vocals, usually with power metal.

yeah, screaming is easy
but making it actually sound good, that's hard,
you should try some easier stuff first, you can't expect to be able to do everything immediately
