I want to get a triforce somewhere. I honestly think if there was ever an underground culture of gamers, repressed and forced to hide their love from public view, they'd all get small triforce tattoo's somewhere for the immediate recognition amongst their kin.

I got one... get the "YOU ARE DEAD" from Resident Evil, in that exact bloody font, tattoo'd on the bottom of your foot.

That way, when the coroner goes to put the toe-tag on you, if he's a gamer, he'll see that and laugh his ass off or become very, very paranoid.

L4D is definately a fertile ground for ideas. The witch always stuck me as something that would transfer well into tattoo style

I'm not normally a fan of tatoos, but after Bioshock (the original - Bioshock 2 never happened!) a friend of mine got a subtle tatoo that I actually thought was kind of entertaining.

On his right wrist (underside) he had the chain-link tatoo of the bioshock protaganist with "Would you kindly?" tatoo'd just below it in cursive font.

I figure that the Shin Megami Tensei Pentagram [http://defaultprime.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/ShinMegamiTensei.jpg] would probably make a great tattoo, but given what you've said about your preferences in games I doubt it'd work for you.

Though, given your preference for visceral, survival horror-type images I'd second the Prototype suggestion, and offer Dead Space for consideration.

And finally, as an alternative to massively armored or half-naked men I'd also toss in Bayonetta as an offering. After all that game has dozens of different provocative poses to choose from, most of which also involve her kicking ass....
