Imo either get the Halflife symbol, or the traditional symbol of the Horde faction (the latter suggestion is a good one because it's not obviously gaming related and would get you some cool regognitions from those who DO know what it means)

So you like the more gory/dark stuff and you want something detailed that the artist can work with. It would be kind of cool to do GRANFALLOON, from Castlevannia: Symphony of the Night. In case you aren't familiar with that one, it's basically a katamari of naked corpses. And also, in a paradoxical way you could tie in the definition of the term "granfalloon" to give it meaning. You have said that you are the type that doesn't ascribe any meaning to your tattoos. So as a paradox, your tattoo of a granfalloon could have meaning by representing your meaningless assocations between you and your tattoos.

I'm currently booked in for something in june, then after that I'll get this done. Unfortunately they're normally pretty busy over summer, so it may be a while before I get a slot, but hopefully I'll have it by the end of it.

I'm not normally a fan of tatoos, but after Bioshock (the original - Bioshock 2 never happened!) a friend of mine got a subtle tatoo that I actually thought was kind of entertaining. On his right wrist (underside) he had the chain-link tatoo of the bioshock protaganist with "Would you kindly?" tatoo'd just below it in cursive font.

Now that, that's a good one. How big is your Red Pyramid, can I ask? That'll dictate my answer.

If, 10 years ago, you had drawn a picture on yourself of your favorite TV? Would you think is was smart now? Probably not. Would you go back in time in order to make sure it happened? Probably not. So 10 years from now, do you think you're going to look back on a tattoo of your favorite video game and think it was smart? So I would say to avoid a tattoo altogether, but that's just me.
