Stay away from Tasmania, Adelaide and Perth. If you want the "Classic Aussie" experience then the NT, and get down to Melbourne for a bit, especially if you love sport.

I'd say steer clear of Inalla, definitely visit Southbank in Brisbane, it's an awesome place. Also go to Toowoomba, certain parts of it are bloody beautiful.

hey mate,

i live in melbourne, yea, oz is ok, everyone loves queensland and melbourne, sydney have this cheap rip-off of american football, only since its the gay capital of australia (fact) they tend to poke fingers up butts...

melb is pretty alright, but dont wander the streets on a friday or saturday night...
also, before you come, look up the movie "wolf creek"
great aussie movie and im sure you'll enjoy it,

where i live, the main attraction is cars, my actual address is about 5 mins away from where most of the first mad max was filmed...
the roos would be hopping up and down the street if the hoons hadn't all hit them with their toolboxes (toolbox: the holden commodoor, know as a toolbox because more often there are 1 or more tools located inside)
once you get ahold of the slang, you'll be right, and vegemite wont kill ya, but i still dont touch the shit lol

as for entertainment, i like to sit around drinking beer, and then take the old falcon out back and do burnouts, then return to a nice cold beer
more often than not, i combine the 2 activities to make one really fun activity, but the police arn't very fond of that one...

Well we at Austrila welcome you....

Okay seriously Australia isn't anything like what people imagined, we don't all sit on our verandas sipping VB and wrestling crocodiles whilest cursing the 'pommy bastards' in fact society wise, like in the city... there is almost no difference. I would recommend the Northen territory.
I would also like to tell you to avoid Perth (my hometown) as there is nothing of any interest there.... however I can't because that would be a lie. to distract from the lack of astounding features Perth city has the largest popultion of really, really beautiful girls.

Perth has the flying cars. The women are just to distract you from the secret goverment tests.
