It pops up three or four times every time I open Escapist in a new tab. I wonder if it's because of Firefox 4.

On an unrelated note: I've noticed that I have to fill in that stupid Captcha virtually every time I make a post now.

Maybe. I'm using the Opera web browser.

I got messages saying I needed an updated version of Java. Then I got one, and they're gone. This is in Chrome. Dunno why your thing is happening, might be Firefox.

I've never had that, and I run FF4. To be fair though, I only open new escapist tabs to watch video content.

i keep it fully updated (although is hard not to)

Firefox 4 and no problems, don't think it's the browser as it seems to be irrelevant, other people are either having the problem or not regardless of browser, just try uninstalling and re-installing the java plug ins

Yeah i get it constantly as well, every time I open a new page or refresh one i'm already on. It's really annoying and won't go away..

I'm using Firefox 4, and I've never had that problem, not yet anyway.

I have notice the Java icon popping up at the bottom right corner of my pc screen recently although there had been no message telling me about using earlier version of it. It also disapear when I using a non Escapist window. Also updating the Java doesn't make go away either.
