So I booted up Origin to run Crysis 2 (bought a key online and registered it on origin) and I couldn't help but notice this
Surely someone has made a mistake? Yeah digital distributors like to overcharge when they realise I'm from New Zealand, but......WHAT THE HELL!? I threw the amount through a currency converter and apparently it's about $283 US. Who would pay that much for a game, even if it was for a collectors edition? Which I'm not so sure it is. Even if it was that's a hell of a lot of money for digital content. I'm pretty sure I saw this game in a store today for $110NZ (typical price for a new release console game here). I just......wow.......I'm stunned.
How do they expect to compete with steam with things like that?
