The game would have to have a riddiculous amount of weapons, of different shapes, sizes, and uses. I personally have wanted to play a [good] game with an "Electric Sword" available to me at some point. The game would have to be funny - Black Humor works very well in the videogaming world. The game would have to have a catchy name, and a great sound track made of actual artists who make music that you can rock out to. It would have to have a large, game world made of both urban, and countryside areas. It would have to be balanced in gameplay and puzzles, with characters [and villains] that you can relate to, and feel emotions for, voiced by people who have interesting and strong voices. IT would have to be colorful, and have a good physics engine.

And it would only be able to run on a million dollar super-computer. :(

Did I just [kind of] describe Borderlands, Fallout 3, Brutal Legend, Ratchet and Clank, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Call of Duty 6 mixed together? In my defense, combined correctly it would be awesome.

A Sony Smash would do a lot better than a Microsoft one, since MS doesn't have too many 1st-party characters and Sony has quite a few more.

But I think the perfect game would be a Saints Row with RF: Guerilla destruction physics. It would easily be the best game ever, though most would still say GTA4 is better (which can only be because of the title because without the GTA part, most would consider that game crap).

But GoW3 probably will outsell MW2.

I think the best game ever would be a third person zombie survival, sandbox game with destruction physics, real world weaponry, rpg character evolution, unreliable vehicles (low fuel, broken engine, lousy brakes, etc...for realistic apocalypse effects), more than 2 endings depending on (not moral) choices, upgradable everything (weapons, vehicles, safehouses) multiple types of zombies and online multiplayer.
THAT would be fuckin awesome.
Yeah, Zombie games when executed well, are brilliant. Deadrising was hilarious, creative, and fun to look at. In fact, I would site Deadrising as one of my favorite games of all time. I know it didn't have online, but it had an element of realism that I loved: basically everything was a weapon. "See that Bench over there?" "Yeah." "You can hit zombies with it." "What about that orange juice jug?" "That too." "The ficus?" "Mh hm" "You're not going to tell me that step-ladder is a weapon, are you?" "I don't have to, now."

If ever Blizzard came out with a WoW 2, they would have enough money to buy the solar system.
Divine intervention would be required to stop an evil like that.

If halo reach was on pc and ps3 then it might, but that isn't going to happen. As for microsoft super smash bros, probally with sony as well so snake can get in along with many others from there.
But we as XBOX 360 owners will be receiving a game all about Raiden.

Is NO ONE else psyched about that?

Come on someone...high five.

Raiden in a SSB for microsoft. His final smash could be a really gay wink, or adjusting his hair.

Come onnnnnn...

(NO I'M NOT SERIOUS!!!)

I think a microsoft version of Super smash brawl. We would have the master chief, captain Price, Altiar, gordan freeman, ect.
No, Gordon Freeman will never, ever, ever be property of Microsoft! He will stay with Valve until the day he dies. (Which will probably from a combination of an infected headcrab bite, and having unprotected sex with Alyx.) And as for Altair, he belongs to Ubisoft, and Captain Price belongs to that less-than-reputable developer that refuses to stop making 15 billion sequels to each of their game franchises...what's their name again? Oh, that's right, Harmonix. No, that's not it, they abandoned Guitar Hero...which is probably why its predecessors are in the toilet. Activision, it was Activision! Yes...like Microsoft, they never knew when to stop and they destroyed two very good game series. The only reason that Mario is still alive and not the star of a low budget shooter or some Japanese eroge is because Nintendo knew when it was time to take a break...and now that they did, Mario is back and as good as ever.
Then how about a game where every game developer/studio picks their best game character and they all team up to defeat Activision.

No.
I am a tool.
And next time try posting something relevant to the topic?

Zing does have a good point though..
RTS's don't have THAT large a audience..
Hmm.

I still say Starcraft 2 has a slim chance of beating it.
Or Twilight online.
