Battlefield: Bad Company 2. I always get pissed off, and always end up coming back to it.

Except today, where I just walked away in disgust. (No, bro, you totally didn't knife me when I shotgunned you point blank twice!)

I was playing a "Computer version" of Legend of Zelda: Oracle of ages yesterday. And I was at the part where you find moosh in the graveyard and have to go get the flippers. I was using a generic computer controller and what was the most simple of tasks on the gameboy became something that I had to repeat 40+ times. Awesome game though.

nemo the dream master on the NES. when i was young i couldn't even complete lvl 2. and the last time i played it i also couldn't complete lvl 2, but i got further in the lvl. it si a great game and i loved that, but it is also a pain in the ass. i also hate the fact that almost al games are so easy. you could defeat a game in 3 days without encounter many hard spots. i love games who are a challenge, give you the finger and laugh at you when you die. now all the games take you by the hand and make it to easy.

I will put another vote for Ninja Gaiden for teh old Xbox. It was hard, cheap, and did not care.

Bayonetta, cheap shotting difficulty combined with incoherent and messy story + dialogue, topped off with some silicone titties and you'll have this travesty...>=/

Well... Just yesterday I got pretty mad at two games. In Football Manager 2010, I got to the MLS Playoffs only to lose 3-1 to my rival "New England Revolution," but I placed second in coach of the year, so I didn't rage too bad. Also, I was playing "Beat Hazard" on suicidal difficulty... yeah, if you've played the game you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, then here's a picture:

There's a little game called Counter-Strike: Source. Sometimes you have good days, but most time you'll have bad days. Those bad days are when I want to rage quit but just can't.
Counter-Strike has the sweet-spot of gaming: it's frustrating, hard, and usually has hackers, but it's too damn addicting to leave.

Same goes with some multiplayer games.

Y'ever hear of this little title called God of War? That game was feckin' nuts (read: Nintendo hard).
what difficulty did you play it?

I tried my hand at unlocked-when-finished-the-game difficulty, but I gave up after half an hour trying to beat the first encounter.
Okay, it was probably a bad move on my part to do my first playthrough on Spartan difficulty; but even so, I did manage to kill Ares...I don't even want to think about what it might be like on God mode.

ALSO: On the other end of the scale, I played Serious Sam on Mental difficulty my first time through, and didn't think much of it.

Don't even get me started on God of War, I swear I was beating my head against the wall during that Poseidon trial part. (The one were you have to swim down the long tunnel, with the statue chasing after you.) In fact the entire Pandora temple was a *****. Not to mention the spiked tower of Hades.

However despite the game driving me insane time and time again, I never gave up on it.

That has happened many times for me while playing Mortal Kombat II.

Those bastards are going down even if it's the last thing I do. I swear.

Two words

Skate. Two.

Some of those fucking challenges man, those fucking challenges. I don't know how many times I restarted a grind competition or level because my right thumb hates the stick and the stick hates the thumb right back. Yet when friends were over, I couldn't stop playing.
I know what you mean i remember the best grind competition for one of the skateboard mag missions took absolute ages sometimes because i fucked the grind up sometimes because the AI casually nailed a 1500+ point score on the first run but all i remember is a blur of jumping falling lots of hitting the restart button and me swearing at the top of my voice , and it takes quite a lot for me to get worked up

Half-Life 2. I can safely say I only finished it as a point of pride, and the damn ending to the recent episode, of which I wont divulge, is the only thing that's going to make me come back for the third installment.

I did get an amazing feeling of accomplishment when I finished a challenge though. And an amazing feeling of stupidity when I got stuck somewhere I probably shouldn't have.

Modern Warfare 2 is designed to keep one playing no matter how much bullshit occurs in the game. Getting rid of it was one of the best things I've ever done in my life. Too bad one of my friends does nothing but play MW2 and sleep, even though he got 10th Prestige months ago.
