Well there's that game I bought my Ps3 for two years ago. Oh Last Guardian. The moral of this story being wait until a game comes out before you buy a console so you can play it

I don't know about you, but I have a mild panic attack every time I see it mentioned in a news article. I get ready to have a cry because I always fear the worst, and that I'm going to hear that it's canceled.

I don't know how much my poor little heart can take with all this waiting! D:
I'd say your being silly...but then if ME4 ever happens I'll probably be in a bit of a state myself...

Please, I am nothing but silly. :p

In all seriousness, I'm a huge fan of SotC and Ico, so having those people make another game is just plain awesome. Even if they're taking their sweet time about it. >.>

A million times this. I was really looking forward to this game, read the reviews, earmarked it as a purchase and then...waiting...waiting...waiting...waiting...

Guess what? Yup! Still waiting. The thing is I've waited so long I don't think I'm going to buy it now just out of principle.
My biggest problem with all this is that an EU release was promised. Not only promised but it was explicit "later this year" with this refering to 2013. We are nearly half through 2014 and still not a bloody thing to hear about it.

I'm not experienced with Atlus release practices. I heard that this company produces quality games, too bad I won't play them since it seems like they don't care for the particular part of the world I live in.
You know you guys can just import the US version (or Japanese if you speak Japanese). 3DS doesn't have any region locks and it might even be cheaper than a domestic release because of the exchange rate (Games tend to be a bit cheaper in the US). An import company like Play-Asia will ship US or JPN games anywhere. That's where I get my Japan-market games from.

A year ago, I would have said "Half Life 2: Episode 3". I'm at the point that I'm convinced that the development team consists of Gabe's dog.

Two weeks ago, I would have said "Kentucky Route Zero:Episode 3" due to how long it's been taking for a new episode to show, but then it actually appeared. I guess "The entertainment" explains why it took so long.(Congrats Valve. An indie developer with a tiny team and no budget to speak of reached episode 3 before you did. Aren't you proud?)

I really want to say "The Last Guardian" but I'm convinced that project is dead. With the original team broken up, it might as well be.

So Broken Age, Part 2? Or does that actually have a release date?

Look, games take time. I can understand not being released in a couple of years, but when you miss an entire console generation? Looking at you, kingdom hearts 3. Squares obviously been fucking around making those handheld spinoffs which is why it's taking so long I'd assume, but still, we havent even seen a gameplay trailer yet.

Yeah we have XD

Plus, from what I gather KH3 is to be a direct sequel to Dream Drop Distance which was a direct sequel to the second game and featured similar gameplay =p Probably worth checking out the cutscenes to KH 3D at least; I'm really not sure it counts as a "spin-off."

I'm not sure KH3 even counts for this thread, since it wasn't announced until very, very recently so really, we haven't been waiting that long!

Final Fantasy XV.

It was announced in 2006. At the start of the 7th generation. 8 years on and a whole new generation later and we still have no release date.

What the fuck Square Enix?
Whoa, whoa, whoa man. Calm down. Nomura recently released information. He said it JUST entered full production. After eight years. It JUST entered full production...

Hahahahahahaha only just? What the fuck have they been doing for the past 8 years? Designing hairstyles?

Not sure if this counts but: New Dwarf Fortress version. It has been 2 years and no end in sight. The last release had some irritating bugs and since Toady doesn't believe in fixing bugs because he redesigns half the stuff with bugs with every release anyway we can choose between a variety of older versions with varying bugs. I know he does it for free (well..I donated about the price of a normal game anyway) but still...I want a new DF version!!! Also none of the "DF inspired games" like Gnomoria are able to satisfy that.

Destiny is going to blow anyway, if they dont release it on PC it wont be a viable mmo considering the majority of players will be pc gamers there is no mention of pc in beta testing so you can assume this is the case (http://www.destinythegame.com/au/en/beta. Looks like it will be one of those games that is great but the community will die fast cause the devs didnt listen and turned their backs on their biggest gaming audience.

The game that I am utterly surprised has taken so long is Starcraft II: Legacy of the void, considering the first two have been out for so long and no mention of a third you would think after having everything set up they would of released this game much sooner. Still I am in no rush for the game, just surprised its taken this amount of time for the third part in a game released almost 2+ years ago

P.S Dragon Age Inq I think going to be a good game mechanics wise with such a predictable boring story-line considering your a conservative style warrior adding to the wannabe try-hard Witcher style morale game choices that I going to wait a few months for peoples reactions to it and Origin for that matter, anyone care to confirm if they are still trying to ramm Origin down peoples throats?

Last guardian and mirrors edge 2, beyond good and evil 2, i'm sure it's probably all been said already but not many people will read through that many posts. something I'd want tho is a warcraft 4, they need to drop just doing a mmo already.

Apparently all that business with Destiny is because Activision gave it such a bloated nonsensical budget that it will need to sell 10mil just to turn a profit. As such they're advertising it every which way they can for as long as they can until it comes out to ensure it's fresh in our mind.
*Googles*
Apparently it's 15 million.

well its still there if thats what you mean, Personally Origin was "slightly" less annoying than steam (steam is ok now that I have internet) it never bothered me as much as saaaay...Uplay

because of that game that shall not be named I'm definetly waiting to see what the general response is

ugghhhh not to mention its 80% hype...but then Titanfall did ok on hype alone

at least Watch Dogs had something tangible to show for its hype...even if by now were not as excited for it as we were 6 months ago

Jak IV. Oh my god Jak IV. Naughty Dog have been giving so many hints to this game for so long, and all these concept art things? I'm just always on the edge of my seat.
The rational part of my brain keeps telling me that it isn't going to happen, and if it does its not going to be the game I've been building in my head, but there stills needs to be redemption for Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, probably one of my most hated games for calling itself something its not
