This is bizzare...playing the game by "not playing the game"

Well, it's not like you're using cheats on anything. It's a valid thing to do, although not what the game designers intended.

I used a rubber band to make my character "sneak" in a corner while I watched tv. By the end of the day I turned my tv back to AUX and saw that my skill had been maxed out for some time now.
I think thats the only skill that I did something like that for tho.

You could do this in Final Fantasy VII at the golden saucer with the arm wrestling game. You just taped down a couple buttons, went to sleep, and woke up with a million credits.

Whattt? I wish i knew that. Whenever i would play that darned thing i would always lose at it.

I did that with the sneaking skill. Low and behold I ended up leveling it up to journeyman or something about 5 minutes into walking away. So the half hour I spent on the interwebs was for not.
