Ho-kay!
Rules and Regulatory Regulations
- How the game works is: every time I post, I will post the Answer Board (seen Below). A player will choose a category and card, the card has a numerical value. As the value increases, so does the difficulty. Once they make their selection, I then post the respective question for that card. This is where the games goes:
[HEADING=3]Whoever posts first gets the question[/HEADING] regardless if it is correct or not. If it is correct, the face value of the card is awarded. If incorrect, the amount is deducted from that player's total points. Then 100 points are deducted from the card's value and all the other players have another chance at the question. If a player gets the deducted question correct, they are awarded the value. If incorrect, they have the value deducted as well, and the question is done.
There are three (3) Daily Doubles on the board. If anyone picks one, the face value of the question becomes whatever the chooser wants it to be; anywhere in-between 0 and their current total of points.
Once all questions have been cleared off the board, the Final Jeopardy category will be announced, as well as the question.
The players will bid an amount and answer (Keeping it secret via Spoiler Box). Then I will announce who got it correct, and the points they bid will be awarded. The amount they can bid on their answer is the same as Daily Double; anywhere in-between 0 and their current point amount.
The player with the most points after final Jeopardy wins.
[HEADING=3]Research[/HEADING]
Is prohibited for all questions except one source, which will be explained.
Looking into video games, movies, TV shows, Text Books and any other kinds of research or Citation is not allowed except the internet by certain means:
If you are so desperately inclined, you are permitted to look online for an answer to the question, as long as it is within 2 browsing clicks or links of this page.
Eg: You are permitted to go onto Google and search, click on any page and search on that page, or the first page of the Google search, but that is all.
You are not permitted to use any keywords that are in the question in your search, you must use synonyms. Also, Wikipedia is not allowed, because that would be too easy.
I am a firm believer that you all will follow this code of conduct strictly by honour, as I have no means of enforcing it other than trust.
That said, do not squander it.
