People tend to hate the more powerful countries, simply because those countries do tend to have monopolies on certain things or exhibit imperialism of sorts. You can sure as hell bet, for example, that India (and a great portion of the world, for that matter) hated the British Empire for a time. And unfortunately, that sort of hate doesn't take in mind all the good that the certain country has actually done, or the contributions it has given to mankind as a whole.
Well in the UK there's an entire culture built around moaning about everything, starting with the current state of the country. When we see people who don't share this view with us it makes us grumpy.

This thread is why we hate you. Why because you dismiss something that isint to your taste as being the worst thing in the world. You make judgements on subjectivity and assume that your word is law and that everyone agrees with you.
