I'll be honest I made this thread because I was watching I Hate Everything's video on this Social Meida thing called Musical.ly and almsot every image of a male singer in it has that hair style, some even dumber and doucheier looking than the pics I posted above:

I want to call those styles a wavy flat-top. But looking it up, apparently they called either a blowout or disconnect, depending on whether the hair just looks windblown or if it's drastically trimmed around the sides compared to the top.

Pop music based fashion is always awful preppy garbage. They all look the same because they are all produced. Not just the music, but their image.

I'll admit, VERY EARLY in my school days, I spiked my hair up a bit. Typically that boyish front spike, or even sometimes just rubbing gel through my entire head. Made me smell a bit nice and it was kind of..."the thing". Grew out of it after like 5 months. As far as I could tell, hardly any girls liked it and most of the guys that did it in my school were actual jerks.

Learned shortly after that many girls dug long, beautiful hair, even on a guy, and to this day I keep a very lengthy, healthy, beautiful mane of hair.

All this hate about a haircut, coming from people who often get salty about being judged, "games are for kids" or "games cause violence" or comments about cosplay or bronies or anime or hentai or larping.

If I'm being honest, I think all lads should have buzzcuts, anything longer than an inch is too long but it's just hair and people like what they like, so leave them to it. They are clean cut, gave a fuck about how they look and they aren't causing harm, so why so salty?

At least they aren't walking around with offensive odour, looking like they just escaped a 6 month capture in a log cabin in the woods 'cos then that would be gross.

I was actually going to mention this one myself.

There is actually a good reason why many find it offputting. It makes the person look sickly, even though it isn't you subconsciously feel as if there hair has fallen out in patches.

Yeah, those guys look pretty punchable, but I agree with the others that the undershave/half-shave/Skrillex thing looks way worse.

It says "I'm edgy, unique, and rebellious so I made my parents pay for this hair cut. Now I can hang out with the dozen other unique rebels with the same haircut behind the gym and talk about how hardcore it was that we smoked that cigarette that one time."
