I also don't buy the whole computer glitch thing because the computer is just a invention. It hasn't been here since the dawn of time and if it simply hadn't been invented none of these theories would exist and The Matrix wouldn't have made millions.

Good thought provoking thread.
I made that film. Behind the scenes, using those brothers as my puppets. Implanting ideas in their minds. I don't want the simulation to control all, it was supposed to make you realise. This is all a simulation. But you damn fools are so backwards that you try to interpret it differently when the answer is right in front of you, you're too scared to even imagine your world is a simulation.

If you want a real mindfuck consider that we could be actually travelling backwards in time but not realise it.
Could you run that past me? I don't entirely understand how that would work...

On the other hand, consider this: You have no proof of the past, save memory a and physical evidence. Physical evidence is only implied proof (ie how do you know that photograph is real?), while momory is only so much biological patterns in the brain.

The future itself is inherently unstable, so does not actually exist.

The past, being infinitesimally small, and instantly passing through the eye if the now into the past, cannot exist; it is just impossibly small and changeable.

So what part of time really exists?

I have pondered on this, long and hard, for years. I can only come to the conclusion that there is no point questioning your memories, or how they came to be. They make you who you are in the present, which you see before your eyes all the time, but is so compressed it doesn't even exist itself. Consider this.

Time is relative. Ever notice that if you concentrate hard enough, moving objects appear to slow down?

There you go.
Yeah ive tried watching a fan moving...i concentrated hard on it and it appears to be slow..
Excellent. You have the Sight.

That, my friend, is Occam's razor; adopting the simplest possibility that makes sense

So we live in a simulation? Does this mean if I sprinted and jumped simultaneously into a wall that I'd pass through it and be able to go underground? Hot.

i swear i saw something in black and white for a second, once
Actually you see things in black and white all the time. Peripheral vision cannot differentiate colours, if someone standing less than one pace in front of you holds out 2 coloured cards at arms length and asks you to tell them what colours they are you cannot do it using peripheral vision alone. You need to glance at them or turn your head.

You will however be able to tell if they are light or dark coloured, as that can be determined from B&W.

If this was all true and we were in 'a matrix' why would you be allowed to think these thoughts.

So, while watching a Youtube video...he was talking about realities, and simulations and what not.

Could we in fact be living in a virtual reality? Maybe even something like in the Matrix? Is this world actually real? If not....are you all a part of a program? Are my parents even real? Or maybe this is all a dream...and in fact, I'm in a coma that looks real. If a program, maybe I'm hooked up to some machine and put in a virtual reality so I don't see the "truth" of whatever that might be. And then that brings us back, is everyone around me (online and real life) part of a program to make me think everyone is real?

I had a very strange experience when I was really young (must have been 5 or 6...I'm 21 now)...costco had just recently opened in california and I never had been in one. About 10 seconds after walking inside Costco (I was with my Papa at the time), everything completely stopped..."time" itself stopped...even myself was completely frozen. There was no sound, movement or anything...but...I could still see everything in front of me, but my eyes wouldn't move. I remember a guy walking out of the bathroom area holding a newspaper as he walked out...he too had stopped. This lasted 5 or 6 seconds.

Now here is the strange part...when "time" continued...NOTHING jumped in place...the guy walking out of the bathroom kept walking as normal. But it wasn't like him jumping out of the location, he just continued moving smoothly...JUST like in the Matrix when they freeze time, and then it continues as normal..had a hard time explaining that one.

Was that a "glitch" in the program? Something else entirely? Guess we or I may never know. I did ask my Papa many years later, and he said that never happened to him. He said it was strange, but he had no memory of it.
Arrrre many atime ive pondered this, and I dunno sometimes I think I see things "glitch". Your case is interesting and awesome. MEh I dunno.

I had a similar experience once, but the worlds too complicated to be a programme or a dream.
