I guess an awkward one would be my dad walking in when at the exact moment I had shot a horse in the face with a rifle in Red Dead Redemption, before proceeding to skin it.

I had this with a housemate's girlfriend. Just as a cougar killed my horse, I killed it. Then proceeded to skin the cougar, and my previously loyal horse (what? I'm not wasting it. Even in death it can help me). Anyway, apparently she was 1) standing behind me the whole time, and 2) a horse fanatic.

And yet my most awkward moment isn't that. It's ME2. Specifically, Miranda's ass. Every playthrough, this scene has come up with either my male nymphomaniac housemate, my mother, or another housemate's girlfriend in the room. (There's an off-chance that she may be a closet gamer).

Another reason why I insist on playing alone.

Edit: the fake laughing scene from FFX was my "ah ha!" moment with regard to JRPGs. That's the precise instant I realized it's a shit genre, and I haven't touched one since.
