Real life: When skateboarding and you hear that infamous "i just rolled into a pebble" sound that I cannot put into an text. It is a good half second before you finally hit the ground, but it is a longgggg half second.

Agreed. Try going down a hill only to hit a bump and fly 10 feet onto a curve. Pain for a week.

I had decided to be ultra-manly and only use a single Ranger in Modern Warfare 2 (I normally just use an assault rifle) and the first minute I do so, I run down a long path and 3 guys walk in a row come in front of me, for reference, the Ranger is a sawn-off, double-barrelled shotgun.

The other people also had assault rifles and sub-machine guns.

I ran to the side and before you could say "Swiss cheese"...

Basically anytime I get jumped by a monster in The Void or when a brother comes into my garden the cycle after reseeding it.

D&D encountering a Great Wyrm with a party of lvl 1's... DM was a fuckin asshole.

Well shit, I hope you don't roll with him/her anymore. One time I committed campaign-o-cide by accidentally burning down my party's boat in the middle of the ocean. This DM sounds like more of a dick then the programmer who made the inescapable room in Dirty Harry for the NES.

In Bad Company 2. Ran into a house, killing two enemies. Went to shoot out a window, only to see an Abrams turning towards me. All I managed to say was "Fuck." before the enitre wall and me was blown into itty bitty pieces. That seems to happen alot.

Mine was sadly DDO online. i used something at my friends called search for hidden monsters (like Unforgotten Realms) and then this lvl 120 huge demon came up. i was lvl 5.... you do the math.

Have you ever had those moments when you were totally sure that your screwed? Happens to a lot of people and each are different. So I ask everyone, what are those moments for you?

The only only that comes to mind is when I was about 10 I think. I was on holiday in Greece and me an my family were out and about walking around. I remember seeing a little wall few feet high.

So I take this little run up and gently hop on to it, as you do. And when I land on it I see on the other side of the wall is this 50 foot drop. Damn near shat my self.

O.O Damn. I would have shat myself too.

Just imagining that has me shuddering.

I was carrying a ride cymbal for my high school bands drum set down a flight to stairs during the middle of a JV basketball game. I tripped about 10 feet off the ground and fell with the cymbal and slid a good 3 feet. Fucked up my knee and skinned my right arm really badly. The worse part was the sound of the cymbal crashing to the ground. The game stopped and everyone is the huge and full gym was looking at me. So I was in pain, embarrassed and thank god I didn't have to play the drums that night or I would of hurt allot more. I just sat on the ground trying not to move much.

In co-op games where your the only one left and your trying to revive your teammates even when about 20 AI footsoldiers are andvanceing on you, all with bullets with your name on it ,
eg. I was playing Uncharted 2 last night and I told everyone that if 2 of us are down, the last one should run to a save zone and camp until we respawn, nobody listened and i had quite a few WTF moments,and heres the bit, We were playing Uncharted 2 co-op on Sanctuary on hard mode for the 1st time and we went to hide up in the building next to the bridge(the 1st building) and a couple of tank-esque villains were coming towards us,Friend A was stupidly trying to punch the guy but got pushed off a cliff and died, while friend B was using an AK47, trying to shoot him in the face,but got shot with a shotgun and then me. I used a shotgon to kill about 3 enemies and revived my friend B, I died because they all fired on me and I was an open target, Friend B stupidly was trying to melee everyone else to death but eventually got a grenade to the face and that was it even though friend A literally sceamed into his mic that he should have ran away

Was playing Mass Effect 2 not long ago, not sure what difficulty it was on but the situation was tense, both my squadmates were down, and I thought I had eight sniper rounds left as I glanced at my ammo counter in the corner of my eye. When I popped out of cover and looked down the scope however, nothing happened as I pulled the trigger.

Damn you, number zero, your trickery is cruel and unamusing.
