I had some really crazy moments back in the day when I was playing Quake 3 Arena or UT2004. When I like heard footsteps and grunts behind me and immediately jumped, turned 180° and fragged someone with my railgun. Even got accused of aimbotting quite a few times when I wasnt :p

Also I had this one moment in the RIFT beta when I won like a 10vs1 against same-level players in open world PvP. They were chasing me with an entire raid and I somehow managed to pull them apart one by one and trick them into following me out of LoS of the others, where I killed them.

It still happens now and then, though I admit the twitch moments have gotten sparse lately.

So in World of Tanks last November one of my best friends (the gentleman who introduced me to the game in the first place) and myself decided to load up for a typical platoon battle. I was in my Tiger I and he was in his Tiger P. We were top tier in a tier 7 maximum game in the map Ruinberg.

We drove into the city as is expected of heavy tanks on that map.

Our team was terrible. Just useless. We were in very good tanks.

When the smoke had settled, I had killed 10/15[footnote]This may seem trivial but inside the game getting this many kills in one match is exceptionally difficult.[/footnote] possible enemy tanks and my ally had killed 2 himself. Our team managed to take 3 down with them as they collapsed uselessly on their own. Throughout it all I was calmly putting 88mm shells into tank after tank whilst simultaneously giving instructions over skype to my friend as we fought 2/3rds of an enemy team of equal tiered vehicles to a standstill. In the end it was us against 3 survivors and we saved the day by destroying them as they attempted to capture our base.

That was probably my best war story. Tonight I also was highly decorated. I managed to calmly work together with him again whilst in the zone to take down a T95 who was at 90% health and capping our base. Between the two of us we secured the win.

We work well together.
I take my hat off to you you crazy tanker. that sort of game is one of the rarest in the match.
ive only had one match like that myself, earned a kolobanovs medal for being left to fight 10 tanks alone in an su-85.. i became death destroyer of tanks.. picked them off one by one. idiots never attacked together just one at a time

Playing on my favourite TF2 server recently and got a 46 killstreak, died once and then got a 38 killstreak. I ended up with something like 84 kills, 22 assists, 1 death, 12 dominations. It felt good.
I remember moments like that back when I played TF2 a lot. I got into this magical, Zen-like trance as a Sniper and it was just one click, one headshot kill. Click, kill, click, kill, click, kill. 'T was a sight of wonder it was.

I also used to have these magical moments in Counterstrike: Source. Two stand out.

I remember this one time us Terrorists were held back heavily in Aztec. My main gun was out of ammo, so I just had those dual pistols (because screw the deagle) I like so much. So I just went "Fuck it" and stormed through the double doors. It was basically this:

Damn well killed nearly their entire team like that. Not sure if it got us a win as a team, but I didn't care at that point, I had my moment.

The other moment was when I played on some maze-like custom map and I took a little too long to buy my gear, as I'm fiddly like that. At the point I had my gear ready, my entire team (CT's) was already dead. Welp. By some sheer amount of ballsiness I basically turned into Rambo and by sneaking, knifing, grenading and straight-up shooting and raging like a pro I killed the entire T team, 18 people because woop woop large servers, on my own.

Fuck yeah.

I just stared in utter disbelief at my screen when that ended, quit CS:S and didn't play for quite some time again, knowing full well that I wasn't going to play that good again.
