The gameplay mechanics just aren't very engaging. It's still okay though.

This wasn't a very constructive opinion but it's the only opinion I have.

It looks really fun (like the art style) and I loved Diablo 2. Reading these posts only makes the fact that I won't be able to play it even more painful. I occasionally lose my connection to the Internet for a second or so, meaning that D3 is a no go.

I am wondering what you all think of Diablo 3. I think it is really fun. The graphics are great and the demon hunter class is very interesting and awesome. The only bad part is the servers.
Loving the game, loving the demon hunter class... can't say I've had any problems with the servers. Maybe that's just luck, maybe it's not happening on this side of the pond (England)... dunno, don't care tbh.

As soon as the servers came back up I went and did the Act 3 boss. That was a bit of a disappointment. My strategy was as follows: hold left mouse button over boss, when low on health, click one of four healing buttons. Done. Ok, on to Act 4 then. A little on the short side, but quite a nice level I thought. Then comes the boss. Same strategy = down first time. A bit of an anti-climax if I'm honest. Meh, I guess that could do with an adjustment.

First steps on the next difficulty have been a bit better. Nothing's really that difficult so far, but even the basic mobs have significantly more health and it makes the combat a bit meatier.
From what people have been sayin and what Blizzard said durin development, the bosses aren't really meant to be the hardest things in the game. They're the hardest fights on normal, but that's only because of a lack of any real difficulty outside of them. In later difficulties the actual challenge comes from the rare and champion packs which range from snooze worthy to oh my god they just smashed my face in and I have no idea how.

That seems to be what I've experienced so far. I've just done Leoric on hard and the same strategy of heal-tanking worked a charm yet again. On the other hand there were a few rare packs that made me back off once or twice (like arcane + electric can be nasty if you're trying to tank in their faces).

Still liking the new difficulty so far. With the 3-hit combo the Monk feels a bit more natural when you're not one-shotting most things.

Diablo 3 is a nice little hack-and-slash fest that will probably be enjoyable to many people for a while.

I didn't like it. I preferred Torchlight 2. The games essentially do the same thing, but I like the style, character classes, mechanics, storyline and graphics more. Diablo 3's not a bad game. I just don't like it.

Ok so it has been 3 days since i've had this and im already on Inferno...way to easy.... the gameplay is pretty crappy ...and all this is a reskin of diablo 2... act 1 only differnece was the boss... a character that was helping you turns out to be a bad guy... oh and act 3 looked a lot like act 5 from D2 even had the same quest light the beacons and get the turrets come on blizzard you really are just trying to go into bankruptcy Starcraft 2 the whole u have to w8 to use the Zerg and Protos, and WOW nerfed the hell out of it. at least be creative with a game that took 12 years that you still managed to make look like something i could play on my kindel fire
