About two months ago, I quit smoking regular cigarettes and switched to "vaping" on electronic cigarettes. I was a half a pack a day smoker for four years.
I know the things aren't approved by the FDA (I'm American, obviously), but the things got me off regular smokes virtually overnight. I haven't seen anyone else using them out in the wild, so I was wondering if there's any vapers on the forums.
For the non-smokers, what would you think about people using these in public vice normal smokes? They don't produce any odor or contain any known carcinogens; they vaporize a water-based solution that contains food additives (to help turn it into a vapor), flavoring, and nicotine. To others, all they see is the water vapor being exhaled (which does look like smoke at first glance).
Thoughts?
