Do you think it's going to rock the gaming world? Do you think its going to suck? What are your thoughts about the upcoming Mass Effect 2?

Unless they change a few things I'm probally not going to buy it. multiple saves is always a must in choice games. Also being able to kill shepard permanetly is just a dick move.

By the looks of trailers and the such, I think it has potential to be even better than the first. The combat looks much better and so do the dialog options. I find it hard to think it will disappoint but I won't go hoping it's the best game in the world.

I thought the first Mass Effect was perfect (even the Mako) and I can only expect this to be of the same quality.

Need to see more gameplay before i can give any educated opinions, but judging from what i have seen so far, it does not look different enough to be of any interest to me at the moment, that might change though. All i have seen is some gunplay that looks fairly unintresting.

from the E3 demo it seems they have fixed some of the problems from the first game and are addin some cool new features.
Im replaying ME1 at the moment on full paragon and collecting everything for the save game feature so my story and charecters are all available besides I like Wrex.
I cant wait to play ME2, ever since the End of part 1 the first time around.

I liked the first one so i guess i'll end up getting the second just to see how the story pans out and if they make any realy good new game play devices.

Yes sir, i hate it when people start using repeat avatars.
Gets really confusing, almost as bad as when someone rapid changes their avatar, *cough*Maxi*cough* although I do quite like your avatar :)

I think it looks excellent. They vowed to make the elevators exponentially quicker which is great and it also seems your decisions will actually mean something this time around, since they could mean the permanent death of various team members.

So far they've improved upon everything that was flawed in the first one. May not have radical changes in it or anything like that but like the saying goes don't fix what ain't broke.

I think if it comes out in the same quality as the first we will have another gem (Since the saving issue that brought so much frustration in the previous title has already been mentioned to have been "Gone over and redone" by the developers).

Mass effect had a thrilling experience wrapped in great immersion (elevator scenes aside), a story line you felt like you affected and indeed did. It did alot of things right which alot of games fall off the deep end at and kept running with it, And I would expect more of the same.

Some changes I would throw in is actual space exporation. As great as the navigation system was, it was indeed boring. The whole fast travel option is nice but when its not an option it feels like I'm missing what could be a rich experience in space exploration.

So do i think Mass Effect 2 will impress? Yes I do, even if they do more of the same with a different story line, I believe I will still enjoy it

I think it'll be an amazing game. I loved the story of the first one and this one is looking to perhaps be better than the first.

I can't wait

I'm really excited for it personally, I loved the first.

The thought of being able to ultimately fail your objective appeals to me I guess (IIRC in an interview one of the producers said that you could go in to the final mission and none of your squad make it out alive)

In my opinion that's better than the ends of most games you know for a fact your squad (or at least the main character) will survive no matter how unlikely it seems; Star Ocean:TLH anyone?

Well, having played through the first game twice and reading the two books related to the games, I think I can say I'm excited for ME 2. I have no doubt it will be better than the first one, and I would have even been satisfied with it being equally as good. Watch the videos on ign.com here [http://media.xbox360.ign.com/media/142/14235013/vids_1.html]. It should confirm that ME 2 is going to be the best RPG on the Xbox 360 made yet.
