I think it will be the definitive RPG of this generation. Everything I have seen and heard so far has been good news. Honestly, if it was simply the same game with a new story and some minor fixes (elevators, Mako, squad controls, more than 1 power hotkey) I would be ecstatic.
I just want to know what they are going to do about the whole mako thing. Yeah i think there is a pace for it but the first one was just rediculous. i mean hell, you could drive up a vertical cliff face but then you would get stuck in a small crack and had to restart the planet because you forgot to save it. and all the planets you went on in the mako were almost identical. I'm just glad they promised this one would be different to that.
In terms of story, i've heard that this one will be centred more around ceberus. That would be good as i felt that it was something of an unfinished storyline in the first game.
I just can't wait for it. i wants it now ;-;

When did they say you could only have one save file? Shephard only dies if you make the story choices that lead to that situation, its the same situation as Wrex really, only this one ends your game.chiggerwood said:

It looks like more of the same... I love it! I especially like how you can load up your new character and bring it into the new game, I'm playing the game through again just to set things up for next time!
I have faith in my boys Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk. They'll do it. They'll bring it. Oh yes. OK I might be completely wrong, but I'm really hoping for an epic continuation of the Mass Effect story. Even though Mass Effect to me wasn't one of the best games, I have faith, as mentioned, in the boys at BioWare to do a great job. After all, they did make Baldur's Gate, didn't they?

its gonna be the same skin tight jumpsuit wearing, over masculant guy/girl, running around on different planets, doing the same thing on each one but doing nothing at the same time waiting for that alien on alien sex
The combat looks like it'll be a step up, I'll give them that. But I really hope that, again, they don't push the original cast out of the first to the side. I really liked them, even just as NPC's on board the Normandy is fine. Provided Wrex and Ash are still there.

It's one of the few games coming out in the next year or so that I'm actually willing to spend $50 on.
I played through the first one twice, because I wanted to have both endings to go off of in the second game.
I think BioWare is amazing with story telling RPGs, which is why I can't wait for TOR.
