Imagine you have an entire game to play, finsh it's main stuff in two days onto the dlc but whats this its strung it out over months. Don't get me wrong its good stuff if it was just closer together.

the RADNET exclusive for prototype 2 has events on it along with a variety of perks for the game, the events are being released over a period of time right up to June the 7th. My thread is about how with 5 sets with two weeks for each it could be a bit closer together. sorry for not making this clearer for people who don't know about it.

It is just a way to make you hang on to the game longer than it deserves to be off the cursed used game shelves.

I think I'd be cool with more online passes functioning like this. If you like the game you bought used, chip in $10 to get more game and behind the scenes stuff. If you don't see a reason to pay, the game won't force you into a purchase, and you're really not missing out on much.

As for why they feel the need to pace things out, I think the only excuse they have for that is wanting to make their limited content stretch out that much farther for day-one owners.

Keeping it off the used shelves for a while is a guess I'm leaning toward. Prototype 2 lasts 2 days if you try to beat it in 2 days. I've had it 10 days and am only half-way through.

I don't think there's anything great or awful about Radnet. It's definately a neat perk and persuaded me to buy early rather than holding out for a bit to see if there's a price drop. It's hardly essential content either, so it's not like someone gets screwed over if they didn't pick up the Radnet edition.

True, the timed releases could have been spaced a little closer; but I think Radnet is a much better way of dealing with consumers than some of the crap that gets talked about here.
