Thoughts on snow

Just kinda curious as I've been getting a good amount of snow where I live recently.

I loved it until after Christmas, it decided to stay and grow old into ice.

Maybe we can make up later this year, but I don't want to see it again...too bad it is around now it snows.

Right now in the general DC area its snowing. They say it was going to snow soo much that many schools and shops closed early. Odd considering all the snow is instantly melting on the streets.

Snow is awesome plain and simple. the best thing about it is u can make slushes with it whenever u want! woot!!

Abbath taught me that the more snow the better. In fact, if we can get some sort of world covering permafrost going things would be much better.

So yes, snow is cocaine. I can't believe nobody figured this out before.

Although, as Better off dead has taught us, it doesn't quite work the same.

I find that it looks quite lovely, but can be killer on the eyes when it reflects the sun. I didn't have snow for about 13 yrs, so I tend to appreciate every snowfall I get that lasts past 12:00 pm.

I love snow! But I hate that half-arsed snow that hang around for DAYS afterwards. Or sometimes even weeks.

After living in it for 22 years and then moving to a place that doesn't get snow for 2 years I actually miss snow. I still somewhat hate it and I don't miss shoveling or driving in it but some part of me likes looking at snow more then desert during the winter months.

it's nice until it starts to melt and I have to work my way through icy mud for two weeks.
and somehow this year in holland, it fluctuates between snow and rain, perfect conditions to create the aforementioned mud.
