Why did I only see one man mention Kreator? Why listen to any thrash when you have Kreator?

On the other hand, check out relatively up and coming group Lazarus A.D., I was refreshed and surprised.

I'd say Pantera is more Groove Metal, their earlier albums were Glam and had some atrocious album artwork

Haha, that's amazing, thought their first album was cowboys from Hell.

They released about 4 albums before Cowboys From Hell, the more you know
I didn't include Kreator in my list since someone had already mentioned them, seems rather pointless to say a band someone else already has

Listening to Metal Magic now. Gotta say its different. Haha, have to say I prefer the likes of Mouth for War. There's no way that's Phillip Anselmo singing is it?

I don't really listen to thrash that much anyway. I prefer my metal of the death and black variety.

Also, a point I should have made earlier, Slayer are NOT the best thrash band, they're just the most famous for it. There's a difference.
And don't give me that "They're famous for a reason" crap, its not becuase they were there best, its down to marketing and people just assuming slayer are the best without looking any further at more bands.

EDIT: I don't dislike slayer (well maybe their new stuff), but they are not the best.

I know they are. That's my opinion, that was never disputed. but an opinion can be formatted the same way as a fact as they are both statements.

Captcha can be irritating yes. As for the Lich King vid, I just really can't get into them. I've tried more than once and I think the instrumentation is good, but the vocals really irk me.

I can see how some people might not like it. tbh a couple of LK songs ive skipped once or twice. But I dont think theres a band in existence that I wont skip a few tracks of now and then.
