I would say that my most endearing scar is the one on my chest, just above my right nipple, where I had a Hickman port for chemotherapy. I ended up having to have the port removed due to numerous fatal infections arising because of it, leading to an excruciating procedure involving doctors effectively pulling it out over the course of a half hour, which was followed by two weeks of me having to shove sterile gauze into the wound to prevent it from closing up incorrectly. Other funness that came with that included doctors pressing down on the path left by the tubes of the port to remove disgusting fluids that built up in its absence, and an accusation from a doctor I've never spoken to prior that the associated staph infection was due to drug use.
