Threads that I get hated for because I seem to harsh and end up spending hours on just that one thread. Though I never know it is that kind of thread until its too late. (though, its just controversial threads where I have a very staunch opinion on)

Well halo threads are on the rise seeing as Reach just came out. Also advertising threads.

I do see why the same few threads keep popping up though. I recently made 2 original threads and both kinda crashed and burned.

This thread, "am i the only one?" threads, rant threads without discussion value, troll threads and any thread that tries to rate Yahtzee's reviews. Can we leave the stupid comments in the comment section of the review? We don't need to hear the same stuff over and over...

How about pokiman pokemon. There must be forums dedicated to pokimans pokemon somewhere out there !

Yes there are but we feel that it is perfectly fine to post about Pokemon here. Why? This is a website all about video games. Pokemon is a video game. If you don't like the subject, ignore it.

Seriously, though...I don't mind relationship threads (why should BonsaiK have all the fun?), but threads about religion and politics (there's a forum for that, one I avoid like E. Coli-ridden steak tartare), Escapist content (there's a forum for THAT), Kotaku links (this site's news department is basically just a Kotaku mirror anyway), ranty rants about Kesha/Bieber/Gaga (if you don't like them, try the classic rock station)...
