Right now it's Batman :Arkham Asylum. But that could change during the Christmas rush for this year, and Bioshock for the Decade.

I like Gears Of War and left 4 dead but Bioshock surpriesed me a great deal and I tend to favor Atmosphere over actual gameplay.

I like fighting games. I would give my game of the decade to Gears of War, although something in me wants to give it to Tekken but I think Gears just beats it. Also, 2006 was a very good year.

You know Tekken 6 is coming out, and as a fan of most fighting games all i have to say on your choice of 2009, realy?

Game of the decade: Even though it was bested by ME for 2007, i would say TF2.

I still play it every other day, and even though valve messed with it a little much, im still enjoying the game.

2001: Tropico

Tropico is an awesome game! I love it! Im looking forward to Tropico 3 in October (16th)

I'm extremely skeptical on Tropico 3, because Haemimont Games is developing it, and they couldn't make a good game if you put a gun to their heads. The wretched Glory of the Roman Empire and Imperium Romanum were Haemimont-developed games.

If Phil Steinmeyer (who did Railroad Tycoon 2 and the original Tropico and has since moved on to doing casual games) were involved I'd be more hyped up about it, but Haemimont's track record is gods-awful. I still own Tropico (and it runs fine on Windows 7), so I'll just play that.

I liked glory of the roman empire :/ But thats just me I guess, and my Tropico got broken, then my brother got punched in the face, its been bad because I've really been craving to play.

Steam's got Tropico with its Paradise Island expansion plus Tropico 2: Pirate Cove in the "Tropico Reloaded" pack for $14.99. Worth every cent if your old discs are no longer workable. As for GotRE, I tend to have higher standards for city-builders since I've been playing them since SimCity Classic (on the SNES, believe it or not the best version of the first SimCity.)

Now all I need it a pay pal account! I like GotRE because of the micro mangent of the diffrent cities. . . and I liked to make a lot of pig farms, kinda like in stronghold 2 where I'd just make sheep farms. . .

No Half-Life 2 on that list? Really?

I honestly hate the game. And i love FPS's.

Can you explain it's greatness? I only ever played to the point where i was driving around in a boat shooting helicopters, solving small puzzles etc.

Should i play on?

(I thought it was going to be fantastic at the start, where i was running through the rooftops with no weapon, great environments and storyline. But after i got the "nanosuit" or whatever it was called, i really didn't like it.)

You didn't like Street Fighter IV? I love Street Fighter, it's a great game, and well, Tekken isn't out yet so for now it's Street Fighter. Also; Soul Calibur 3 and 4, really?
