Another one of those things where people will (rightfully) get annoyed with them doing it, but the DLC will still sell so much that the company sees it as worth doing.
In the Jimquisition he made a good argument about not boycotting games if you do not support the publishers, but DLC is another thing entirely. If people stopped buying them, they'd realise that gamers aren't willing to put up with being ripped off.
Note: I am not saying that all DLC is a rip-off. Only the ones where they clearly could have been included into the main title, had they not deliberately held on to it to sell us later.
