Joan of Arc for sure.

my First gf (if you've ever seen NCIS, she was my Shannon to my Jethro).

um... Martha Washington.
....is that the one that tried to put a 7 iron through his skull?
I dontknow, which girl are you talking about?
Jethro's Shannon.
I dont think so. Shannon was his first wife. The one that gave him a kid, taught him his "rules." I think "canonically" it was his second wife, cause he says his second wife was a golfer, but you dont know if he counted his first wife shannon, or if she is the second (would offcially be third) wife after shannon's death.

A stripper/groupie, the woman people who don't believe Kobain committed suicide believe may have killed him, and the woman who killed the Beatles? Of course, number two is speculation, but otherwise she's just a singer and hardcore feminist activist.

My choices are my aunt and great-grandma who raised me, and my beautiful fiancee who's stuck with me through hell so far.

My ex girlfriend Alicia, we're both artists but I've always looked up to how utterly effortlessly she'd pick up any new medium. One day she'd say "I wanna be a photographer", and she'd get what she needs, learn about the technique, and get freaking good at it. Same with oils, watercolors, metal work, singing, playing bass, she is just an amazing woman. Not to mention the fact that she wouldn't take any shit from anyone. She's currently assistant producer for a couple of independent student films when she's not pursuing the other arts. I truly look up to her and I'm glad to say that even though breaking up after a five year relationship was rough on me, we've become great friends again.

Kathleen Hanna from Bikini Kill and Le Tigre. One of the architects of the riot grrrl movement, She is/was outspoken and bad ass, intelligent a feminist and a genuinely sweet person. She never compromised and made some solid music. Huge influence on me musically. I look up to her.

My mom, don't feel like writing another paragraph, she's just a great, strong and smart first generation Mexican-American who helped us (me and my brothers and sisters) realize who we are exactly, and where we came from. I'm a proud son.

Yoko Ono didn't kill the Beatles, and no one has ever come up with a convincing argument for that. The Beatles killed the Beatles. Yoko Ono was the scapegoat for the public who wanted someone to blame other than these "gods of music". She was also a pretty cool artist.

I have no love for the Beatles at all. But their hippie phase of degradation into the shadows started around the time she hooked up with Lennon and he began growing distant.

Rainbow Dash
Tali Zorah vas Neema
Chell

All fictional but I love rainbows utter determination to be the best and Tali was my favorite Mass Effect character and Chell because she proves women characters don't have to be seen to liked.

Joan of arc

My horseback riding coach. She was insanely tough, and had no tolerance for weakness. Taught me that everyone and everything has the potential to be great.

and Katniss Everdeen of the hunger games series.

My grandma, who smuggled weapons for the resistance during the second world war, and after that went to study politics. She never stopped being badass.

Can't really think of anyone else right now.

I get the first and the last, but Gwen Stacy? The fictional girlfriend of a superhero who's only action of note was dying tragically?

I'll second Courtney Love. Anyone who says she murdered Kurt (or in any way encouraged his death) is ignorant of anything resembling facts and I will leave it at that.

Alanis Morissette.
I guess I chose those three mainly because they are always misinterpreted and misunderstood. Yoko Ono comes up in a conversation: "she broke up The Beatles". No she didn't (much), and no one ever thinks the most important thing: John Lennon was happy with her and madly in love. So does Courtney Love, everyone thinks she is some junkie murderer. I think she is a pretty decent musician, and Kurt Cobain never complained about her. He* also loved her. And lastly Nancy Spungen, everyone thinks she was a prostitute, but she was only trying to have fun, she was young. In fact she was killed by a lousy musician, and no one seems to be angry about that.

I mean, it's not a rant, but why the hell people can't see my point of view.

I can't really think of any women that I admire off the top of my head. There are very few people I truly admire.

No way, my three women are better. Well maybe not better than Florence Welch or your mom. But who is Gwen Stacy?

Yoko Ono is a ***** who broke up the Beatles, not someone to be admired.
Yeah well, whenever that dickhead who murdered her husband (and they did love each other) is put up for parole (which unfortunately has to happen as they can't all say "fuck him just leave him there" which is lame) she has to go to them and and remind them of the fucking atrocity he did, and she has to go through it all over again. So yeah I can see why he admires her.

Didn't even THINK of Auntie Pixelante. Great pick. She's my number four, outspoken controversial prolific genius indie game designer. Wish I could makes games half as fun as hers tend to be.

My sister for her tenacity, our family is very poor and we live in the arse end of nowhere yet she managed to scrape up the money to go to university and complete her degree with first class honors.

Robin Hobb for being an amazing writer.

And I can't think of a third currently but i'll update this if I do.

Oh and if anyone was going to ask about my mother i'll save them time, I love my mother dearly but I don't admire how she's spent her life.
