Thugs - A Team Rocket RP (Started, accepting sheets)

"I'll go on the first rotation. You, you and you are with me."

Max pointed at herself, Dirk, and some other grunt she'd seen in the offices. So much for taking that shower and cleaning her clothes if she was going to be tromping around in the dark tonight. She'd just allowed Machoke back into her ball to rest a bit after her exercise with the walking grunts. Leela herself stretched out on the trunk of a tree before walking over to Max.

"So, what's the plan on this? Anything weird, or is there a reason we're this close to Saffron without going by or going in?"

Mayu happily helped set up the camp with some of the other grunts. She felt that it was her duty to help out as much as possible. While getting one of the tents out, she overheard Max giving out the first shift for sentry duty. Turning eagerly, she asked. "Boss, when is my shift? I'll make sure that not even a diglett can get into our camp!"

"So, what's the plan on this? Anything weird, or is there a reason we're this close to Saffron without going by or going in?"

"Alex is an idiot, that's why we're so close." muttered Max, stretching. It was going to be a long 3 hours of standing up looking intimidating.

"Boss, when is my shift? I'll make sure that not even a diglett can get into our camp!"

"You don't get a shift." said Max bluntly, walking over with Leela to a corner of the camp.

"Nobody gets past you, either way. You might have to stop some of the more desperate alcoholics here from running into town to get a drink. I'm on the other side and Dirk will face that way." he said, pointing out the spots.

This is way too close to Saffron.

He turned to where Dirk was standing.

"Is that clear?"

Still don't trust this guy but I wasn't going to give sentry duty to that idiot Scott.

Mayu was definitely disappointed that she wouldn't get a shift but at least she would be able to get some rest though. She was feeling a little mischievous though, so she thought that a little bit of fun wouldn't hurt. Well..being a rocket her joke could be seen as something bad, so she had to think of something fun, but not something that could get her in trouble.

As Alex went across the campsite, talking to his tools he spotted the little girl Mayu. She had a little smile on her face, as if she had just come up with something nasty.

"Well doll, what's your name?" he said, kneeling and smiling.

He set the bat down beside him to show he was not angry.

Mayu gulped a little bit as she saw Alex coming over to her. She was trying her best to 'lose the cute' even though she didn't know how, and she hoped that she at least made some progress on it. Looking as loyal as she could, she said. "My name's Mayu, Sir. Mayu Reimi."

"Sir. I like the sound of that." laughed Alex a little. He looked at the young grunt strangely.

"Do you like it here with the Rockets little girl?"

Caid sat on the edge of the camp, near a tent she had claimed as hers and watched the lights of the city flicker down as the sun came up. She'd heard of Saffron, if only because it was the biggest and busiest city in Kanto, and judging by the skyscrapers what she heard was true. She decided that the biggest building in the middle had to be the Silph Co. building.

She noticed that the weirdo with the bat was talking to Mayu, and decided to give him a watch-over to make sure he didn't try anything with her.

Mayu nodded her head before saying. "I do, Sir. Some of the other Rockets are a little more...interesting..than others, but I'm really glad that I joined. I'm going to do my best to become your most useful tool, Sir." She made an annoyed face, expressing her feelings for a little bit before saying. "I just wish that he would see my potential too." She was looking at Max, so that it was known who 'he' was.

Max, walking across the camp to where he was going to stand watch noticed Mayu looking at him with Alex kneeling beside her. He stopped and looked back at Alex. Alex put a hand on the girl's shoulder.

"Do you have a tent yet? I've got some candy I like to munch on before I go to bed."

Max started walking towards them.

No no no no. This is too far you sick fucker.

Mayu gasped at that before shaking her head and saying with excitement in her voice. "N-no sir, I haven't chosen a tent yet." She was definitely excited about the mention of candy, and hoped that he was really going to give her some.

Caid sneered a bit when she heard him offer the girl candy. He may be a Rocket, but there's no call for being that much of a sicko. Especially for a teammate. She glared a hole through him from her seat, deciding it's not worth getting into an argument over yet.

Max saw Alex get up, and point to his tent. Max came up to him and worked hard to keep his voice quiet.

"Mayu, you will come sleep in my tent tonight. Alex's tent is too full." he said, pointing at his tent on the other side of the grove. He never stopped looking at Alex who turned back to stare at him.

"Max, what are you doing?"

"No. Not her."

"I can do whatever I want, I'm commander." he said, deathly quiet. The bat remained on the ground. Max swallowed.

Show your balls Max, Petrel is on my side.

"Mayu, leave."

Mayu couldn't hear what was being discussed between the two leaders but she knew it was way above her level. When she was told to leave, she did so while wondering why he was stopping her from getting the candy. Could he possibly want the candy for himself!? That wasn't fair at all! Even if he was the Boss, Alex was the Big Boss, and she decided that she would somehow get to Alex unseen before max hogged all the candy for himself.

"Alright, sounds good to me." She took two pokeballs from her pouches attached to her belt and let out Rainy and the Bellsprout. After a few words with Rainy, he slithered up a tree and wrapped himself around a branch, any grunts attempting to get by him were going to have about a hundred pounds of Dratini coiled around them. Bellsprout took its place on her shoulder, to be used for its Sleep Powder on the desperate grunts that tried to get past.

She kinda wished she'd taken a bit more money from her parents when she'd left, to buy some of those nifty Silph co. goggles that let people see in the dark like it was daytime. But, it wouldn't have been prudent to do that with the company she kept nowadays.

Caid whistled at Mayu to get her attention, and signaled for her to come over. She may be young, but she at least needs a little explanation. Her face showed that she was a little upset about not getting to go with Alex.

"Hey, kid...c'mere."

"Are you threatening my authority?" said Alex, his face starting to contort in rage.

"This time, yes. I've seen your conquests and ignored them but this is sick."

"You're on thin ice Max."

"Go through with this and word will go to Petrel. Proton might not care what you do but thankfully most of Team Rocket knows the right way to spend its time."

"You slime!" he said, bending down for the bat. Max didn't move.

"Go on, hit me. Remove me. Who else is going to make sure this team functions efficiently? I fix all your fuck ups and you get all the credit. Without me you just fuck up and get all the credit."

Alex looked at Max intensely. He burst out laughing.

"So when did you grow a pair Maxxie?" he shouted before lowering his voice.

"If you remember, there is one thing I haven't mentioned to Proton yet. One thing I'm sure you don't want him to know." he said, pointing the bat at Max.

Max paled.

"Just leave the kid out of your games."

"No promises." he spat. They exchanged looks of pure hatred before Alex turned away. Max walked stiffly over to a tree and leaned on it for a moment. All the memories, all the shit he had to deal with when they were working in a smaller unit...

...fuck.

Mayu turned to the sound of the whistle, and once she saw that one of the other Rockets were calling her, she walked over and asked curiously. "Yes? Is there something you need? If you wanna switch sentry duties with me, Boss said that I can't be a sentry. It's not fair at all..he's even claiming Alex's candy for himself."

Caid let out her Ekans and let it coil around her arm with it's head resting in her hand. She held it out toward Mayu, as a gesture to let her pet it.

"Nah, I ain't even a sentry... But th' thing with Alex an' his candy? That's...candy ya don't want. He's got bad candy, that stale month old candy corn crap that people insist on givin' out on Halloween. Y'all don't want none'a that."

Mayu gasped a little bit at that before whispering back and gently petting Caid's Ekans on the head. "Really? I don't like that kinda candy at all. Max can have all of it if he wants then."
