That Pidegotto was causing more problems all over the hall, Machoke couldn't fight both the horde of rats and puffballs and that anymore and was swarmed before being thrown through a weakened portion of wall. Leela rushed to her side and returned her to her pokeball.
Getting back to where the grunts had set up their own defense, Rainy and the Wartortle were squaring off, Rainy in his usual battle mood, very unlike his usual self, but it was his way of fighting.
"Rainy-Day, Thunder Wave!" The Dratini let out the surge of electricity at the Wartortle who charged, and was hit with the wave, falling to the ground, twitching.
"Rainy, give the trainer back his pokemon." Rainy-Day wrapped his body around the twitching pokemon, who was unable to move due to the electricity running through its body. Rainy launched the pokemon back at his owner and followed Leela into the elevator, who noticed the emergency exit in the ceiling. Using Rainy-Day as a makeshift rope/ladder, she wiggled out of the elevator and was about to return Rainy to his pokeball before that damned Pidgeotto crashed into the elevator. The Dratini struggled against the bird, but was too tired to put up much of a fight and Leela was forced to return him to his pokeball before he was taken. She heard a dull thunk underneath her and she turned to regard her current situation.
"I'm not about to let you morons keep me from finishing up our job."She yelled at the guards.
Next to her was a grate, and behind the grate, a ventilation shaft. She was able to take it off just as a Rattata jumped up on her leg, which she then shook off and threw down into the elevator again. She climbed into the shaft and made her way far past where she heard battle sounds before dropping down into some storage room with an unlocked door.
