What about the ending to Stanley's Cup? What the f*ck happened there?
They wanted to write an episode with a happy ending for the team the show wasn't following; they wanted it to be as unhappy as possible for the main character's team.

Huh, a sad thread, and no mention of Grave of the Fireflies? This is a movie where the very first scene has the main character dieing unloved and unmourned in the middle of a street. And he's a 15 year old boy. And the movie then spends the remainder of it's running time toying with your emotions about him, and his little sister.

I got that. I just found it incredibly bizarre.

Does the word "Kiwi!" ring any bells?

And given today's date, this seems very fitting:

And just for the sake of mood whiplash:

2 Scenes from TV that tugged at my heartstrings would have to be:

1. Doctor Who - The 10th Doctors Regeneration - The Doctor actually not wanting to go through the regeneration was quite tragic, just his expression, being all alone in the TARDIS and saying his last line "I don't want to go" made for an excellent yet sad ending to the 4th season.

2. Trigun - The death of a certain, lovable character. Why did it have to be him T_T

God damn, everytime I see this film is on TV, I have to stop and consider if I want to feel sad and depressed after watching it or not, but I love it because it can make me feel so strongly.

also I was doing barbell rows yesterday and my grip kept slipping. I had to put the bar back on the floor and then pick it back up before I could do the last rep. Tears were shed.

The only thing in television that has even semi moved me is the tenth doctors regeneration. Yes, its already been posted, but still.

We didn't want you to go either, David :(

Great. Now I'm crying.

No.... Not tears of sadness. Tears of hysterical laughing.

...The second one? *Glances at post* I don't recall implying that the Animal Crossing one was anything of the sort. The third one now...
