What I find especially ridiculous is that in American tv-shows even the buttcrack is censored.

Really? How very odd. That said, I understand doctoring/censoring shots where you can glimpse inappropriate floppy-parts between someone's legs.

One of the less glamorous tasks I've had in small-time tech theatre was to take photos of actors' bare backsides while they were bending over, to be shown on a HUGE screen during the show. (It made sense, but not all that much of it. I think the director just wanted to offend enough audience members to get in the paper.) It's surprisingly difficult to get a PG13 photo this way without some Photoshop time.

its because a person that age is not in a posistion to be raising there own child. A 16 year old does not own a house nor have a full time job and simply is not in a position to start a family

Generally the government only seems to give a crap about older individuals with under 16-18 year olds.
But to answer your question, they hit puberty at that age because their bodies are becoming capable of reproducing. Which funnily enough is also the reason why under 16-18 year olds shouldn't be having sex.
I personally don't want to see a generation full of children being raised by hormonal teenagers, lacking the maturity to raise children, and the real world experience to be independant and support themselves let alone a child.

If your video explained some kind of joke that I've missed, I'm sorry but I didn't watch it. But as it stands on its own, your comment portrays an extremely worrying opinion which I'm glad most people don't share.

the video basically says your first sentence, and how society moved forward faster than evolution moved our reproductive systems forward. its society's fault that they dont have the independence and maturity, because they now say 'you have to stay with your parents and cant get a full-time job and you cant experience x,y and z.' back in the middle ages, they would work in fields and be treated as adults because they were middle aged (people were living to 30 if lucky).

I'm sorry, but that isn't true. I recently was on a vacation in Greece, and both on the flight to Greece and back to Norway there was a row numbered 13. (I even sat on row 13, seat F one way).

Oh, well in that case, the planes I have been on didn't have rows numbered 13. I have only been on a plane 4 times, but each time there was no 13th row. I sat quite close to where it would have been on 2 of those flights and I saw where it skipped straight from 12 to 14.

I don't know if it's true, but at least that one makes sense.
While removing floor 13 from buildings is just silly, I can understand that they'd want to remove floor 9 from hospitals (and perhaps old people's home).
It doesn't have anything to do with superstition, it's just a bit macabre, you know.
