Heh, this list isn't too bad, mentioning so many quality titles and hardly of the latest garbage.

Still, it's missing Super Metroid, and a lot of these could easily be over taken by Melee, and Morrowind had a fairly big impact as well.

Wii Sports?

...

You've got to be fucking kidding me.

On a less obvious note...Mass Effect 3?

...

It's good, but there have been better games that Mass Effect 3 released in the last three years. There have definitely been more satisfying endings, more coherent storylines, and less awkward animations.

I'll echo everyone else's sentiments and say pretty good list.

The bulk of the classics are there.

No Journey though? For shame.

good list, i would add system shock 2 but whatever, it has deus ex so i am ok.
but why out of all the eldar scrolls games did they pick fucking oblivion? that's by far the worst
edit: ok so while i miss c&c it does have dune 2 and since they seem to always be going for firsts in a series (like how thief 2 was much better than thief but not as groundbreaking since its a sequel) that makes sense.

What, no Majora's Mask or Windwaker? Blasphemy!

I don't see the point in having Guitar Hero AND Rock Band, when they're essentially the same fucking game.

This also SERIOUSLY needs Monkey Island and Minecraft... and Dokapon Kingdom... and Space Cadet Pinball (why the fuck would anyone pick Solitaire or Minesweeper when they have Space Cadet???)

I also feel that one of the original WipEout games from the first trilogy should be on it. In terms of impact on the industry as a whole, it's a no brainer. 2097 is prob the best racer I ever played.

I never tend to bother getting irate by lists like these as gaming comes down to personal opinion. Do you judge it on sales, community, lifespan?

Personally I wouldn't place games like Fallout into my top 100 - Oddly I think i'm one of the few people that doesn't really like Fallout.

Hell, i'd have a job creating my top 10 list because i've played some awesome games over the years!

Although the inclusion of Mass Effect 3 makes me think whoever compiled this list has a sense of humour...
It gets better, if you look at ME3's entry, it starts with

It?s not the destination, it?s the journey.
...yeah, isn't ME3 the destination I wander... Not even talking about the ending, ME3 literally is the last instalment of the series. Not much of the "journey" part, really.

No Baldurs Gate 1/2. Nor Planescape. When the first games I look for aren't there, this is a list I don't agree with.

And Angry Birds? Really? Sure, its popular and fun, but they could just as well include Wordfeud, Typershark, or any other flash game that's as addictive!

You have to Put OoT on there. It did too much to not be included. A lot of this list is fine by me, some of these picks are real head scratchers though.

Fantastic list considering this is a non-gaming source.

I could easily swap about 20 games on there but everyone has their own preferences.
At least the list recognizes nearly every gaming genre.

Then you run into the problem of interpreting the title All-Time Top 100 games.
People will say Super Mario Bros when most of us would agree that Super Mario 3 is the better game. So which deserves the spot?

haha i dont honestly remember when i saw it exactly. at my job a day tends to feel like a week so it felt like i saw the article several days ago but time has blurred together to the point where it very well may have been the day before (truth be told, when i posted that i didnt even remember that it was tuesday)

Ah, OK, fair enough. Funny thing is that I didn't actually sleep on Sunday evening, so because everything was blurring together, I had to force myself to pay close attention to the dates. I probably wouldn't have really noticed otherwise.
